Sometimes we are faced with opponent that before the battle commences we could predict who will eventually emerge victorious in the battle some battle in splinterlands can be very unpredictable especially when each player come up with good frontline monsters, to be a top notch player in this strategic game one need to collect and hold incredible monster collection cards over my years of playing splinterland I have been adding more and more cards to my collection to stay ahead of competitions in the battle arena for one to survive here they most always upgrade their cards collection.

In this week social media battle challenge I will be using a new strategy to attack my opponent my new skill strategy is to use triple double strike monsters a double sneak attacker, a double snipe attacker and a double melee attack monster to obliterate my opponent although I will be including some additional monster to balance the battle so as not to get eliminated easily.

Here is the link to the battle link using triple double strike monster

Battle ruleset

This battle ruleset is no rule (a player could use any element monster combo) for instance when using water element one can add sneak, opportunity monster, snipe, magic, shield and healing monster this ruleset is very flexible and gives one opportunity to be very unpredictable as well as very careful when selecting their battle frontline formation.

A 38 mana cost cap with no ruleset gives me chance to select my favourite element for this battle here I will be going with water element, my opponent came up with water element as well this make the battle more interesting and a bit uncertain if I would be winning.

Battle lineup

DIJINN OSHANNUS batting with water element with high mana cost won't be complete without adding DIJINN OSHANNUS to the frontline collection with its void ability and good health it can always be used as frontier it comes handy when my opponent chose to come up with more magic monsters.

COASTAL SENTRY my first double strike monster on the battle frontline a melee attack monster although it has limitation it can only attack when it's on first position with it low health mana placing it in first position will be a bad strategy so I had to put it on the second line list.

MERDAALI GUARDIAN with it health repair ability I can stay longer than expected in any battle although it doesn't attack from any position but it is very supportive since we can't totally predict what our opponent will be coming up with a healing monster isn't such a bad idea for this battle.

DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR My second double attack monster with sneak ability it can only attack monsters on an opponent last line it attracts from the back infiltrating an opponent back side and creating opening for wins.

AXEMASTER third double strike snipe ability monster with double strike monster it also has a good damage speed that could easily evade an opponent frontline it attacks monsters on frontline.

XENITH ARCHER a range attacker that attacks from distance has low health costs but can be of good use as it could help inflict damage on a opponent frontline monsters placing it at the back could also be use to protect my double strike monster.

My strategy

My strategy for this battle is quite simple to use triple double strike monster against my opponent aside that I had to introduce my void monster in order to say longer in the battle without the healing ability monster and the void monster I'm not sure my strategy would have pretty much worked out on the other hand AXEMASTER and DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR did according to my plan let delve into the battle arena and see how it ended.

The battle lasted seven rounds with each player being resilient on the battle arena first round and second round there was no monster eliminated from any player my opponent was quite prepared with his fire blast monster that inflict damage on my frontline and second line monster my opponent was quite ahead of the battle despite my strategy of having multiple damage monster to attack my opponent we both came up with void and healing ability monster.

Third round on the third round my back line monster and that of my opponent were eliminated taking out his opportunity monster gave me heads up in the battle.

fourth and fifth round I was able to take out another back line monster and the frontline monster.

round 6 and 7 the battle was finalized with four of my lineup monster still in the arena.

My strategy did workout in this battle although not to my full expectations my opponent did put a good fight but I managed to pull through and was the winner at last.
