Is Low League and Low Mana Dragon-Death Combo Unbeatable?

In order to answer this question, I will share a battle showcasing why using the dragon summoner Drake of Arnak Instead of the usual Thaddius Brood

The +1 armour against other death teams in low mana can be the difference maker as it saves your back row from a direct blow by a sneak monster such as Undead Badger

THE BATTLE RULES

The Battle I am showcasing today has 12 Mana, Normal Ruleset, and all splinters allowed.

• My opponent had played a death team for the last 5 battles.

This led me to believe they would do so again.

In order to counter their strategy, I decided to do exactly as I mentioned earlier and use the dragon summoner.

My next move was to use a classic low league death tank Cursed Windeku to take my opponent's hits.

With only 2 mana left the Undead Badger made its appearance on my team.

THE RESULTS

Rather predictably at 12 mana, my opponent had used the same death cards although used the Death Summoner rather than the Dragon Summoner, how would this affect the outcome?

• I had 1 armour on both of my cards, while they had reduced my Cursed Windeku's health down to 8.
• I could guarantee that I would take out their sneak monster with mine as the armour would protect.
• How would my reduced health come into effect, I was pretty sure at this point I had won but let's see just to make sure!

I think we all know where the battle goes from here, no matter who attacks next.

What Other Dragon Combos Exist?

Since I am only able to use the Drake of Arnak as I mainly have the starter cards to work with, I find this Dragon-Death combo to be extremely effective.

What other Dragon combos are unstoppable for you?

I really would like to hear more about how you use the dragon splinter at different leagues(I've been playing in the bronze league).

One Dragon Card I'd like to be able to get one day is The Vigilator!

It is just a monster of a card that can be extremely effective in a variety of rulesets. For example when it gets sneak or opportunity to allow it to use its melee from the back row. It's even great as a tank in close-ranged matches so the ranged attack can be used right upfront!
