Antoid Platoon Fights It's Way To Victory?

Every week, @splinterlands posts a challenge for players to post about their battle, using a specific card or splinter. This week’s challenge, is to use Antoid Platoon!

Ruleset

All melee monsters have can attack from any position. Mana was capped at 27.

Here is my battle:

So, here was the team I put together:

Since, Antoid Platoon is a Fire Monster, I began by choosing my Fire summoner. I picked, Tarsa- a powerful Fire Summoner! Tarsa is at level 3 and adds an attack stat to each friendly melee monster!! Tarsa also adds a health stat to each friendly monster!

The village folk always say that Tarsa was born with fire in her blood, and that is true in many ways. Her burning rage and quick temper are amplified by her powers to summon and control fire. While her parents and teachers tried to instill patience for such dangerous magic, Tarsa had little time for that. She used her abilities to bully and threaten those that got in her way.

Her young and innocent-looking appearance only helped her to further manipulate people around her. “Tarsa always gets what Tarsa wants” is what she says to herself every time something or someone challenges her.

When the Chaos Legion arrived, Tarsa saw this as an opportunity to have free reign of her fire power without interference from anyone else. So long as the Chaos Legion opens the path for her, she can burn everything else to the ground.

Tarsa's laugh echoed into the night. She stood in the middle of the wide-open plains, a blanket of stars above. Her arms moved in circles around her as she controlled a raging torrent of fire. It spun about her, embers drifting up into the night.

She was surrounded by a tribe of barbarians. Barbarians that were angry she was on their land, using their resources, and hunting their animals. They tried to talk to her, but Tarsa cared little for conversation. She was stronger than all of them combined.

She flicked her wrist and bolts of fire shot from her spinning torrent, impacting the warriors around her. They screamed. She laughed.

“Well, come on!” she shouted. “Let's see if any of you are strong enough for Tarsa!”

Since, Tarsa adds an attack to all melee monsters, and the rule set allows melee attacks from anywhere, I concentrated on melee monsters. Also, for an added bonus, my daily focus was fire.

I was already feeling confident, but let’s get to my monster line-up!

My Monster to Lineup

In my tank position, I chose Cerberus! This card is from the Fire Splinter and has some pretty good stats. It has decent speed, attack, and health- but I really like its ability! It has Heal, which restores part is its health, each round. It is also a Melee monster, so it gets a buff from the summoner.

Antoid Platoon followed. I mainly chose this card because of this week’s challenge. It is not very impressive, but the rules allowed the melee attack from any position. It also has the Shield ability, which reduces damage from Melee and Ranged attacks.

I then chose, Hydra. This card’s attack and speed is pretty impressive! The rules that allows a Melattack from in a position. Hydra also posses the ability to heal himself.

Creeping Ooze was chosen to be in the fourth position. This card was chosen to slow the enemy team down! The slow attack was allowed from any position!

Fineas Rage was fifth. I just love this card because all the stats are awesome. The rule set allowed him to attack from any position.

Furious Chicken, anchored the team! Who doesn't love this card? I chose this card, because it didn't cost a thing and it added Health to the team. The rule set also allowed an attack from anywhere.

My battle only went 3 rounds, and I only lost the chicken. I was very happy with the team I assembled, and was very pleased with my victory ✌🏽

This battle netted me 53.315 DEC! That’s about 42 cents for simply winning a battle in a fun game! That’s crazy 😜
