Back Off Before You Get You Throat Cut!

Every week, @splinterlands posts a challenge for players to post about their battle, using a specific card or splinter. This week’s challenge, is to use Elven Cutthroat!

Ruleset

All monsters have the sneak ability and and range monsters can attack from any position! Mana is capped at 25!

So, here was the team I put together:

Since, Elven Cutthroat is a Neutral Monster, I was able to pick any of my summoners. I picked, Lyanna Natura- a powerful Earth Summoner! Lyanna is at level 5 and adds an health stat to each friendly monster!!

After the Magi of the Forest, Lyanna is the greatest summoner from Anumün. She has many powers in addition to summoning, including her ability to communicate clearly with animals. She is married to Aggrodius Lightbringer, and they live together in Draykh-Nahka with their two daughters, Kiara and Talia. Lyanna lives a busy and high-profile life, very different from her simple past on the Lyverian countryside.

I was already feeling confident, but let’s get to my monster line-up!

My Monster Lineup

In my tank position, I chose Flesh Golem’s ! This card is from the Earth Splinter and has some pretty good stats. This card sure c ask B take a beating, while the rest of the team attacks bc from behind. The sneak ability allows targeting of the last monster, which helps a lot!

Wood Nymph followed. She has pretty weak stats so I mainly chose her for her Tank Heal ability, which Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.

Elven Cutthroat was chosen to be in the third position. This card has OK stats, but I like it for it’s speed! T he sneak ability allows an attack from any pos, and Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.

Brownie was chosen to be in the fourth position. This card has Was chosen to give the team some extra speed, and he can attack from any position.

Minotaur Warrior was fifth. All around, it’s stats for Purdy solid considering it’s low manna!

Giblin Thief, anchored the team. I chose this card mainly for the good and fast attack. Sneak let him attack from this spot!

My battle went 5 rounds, and I lost ZERO monster. I was very happy with the team I assembled, and was very pleased with my victory ✌🏽
