Mycelic Infantry Leads Its Team To Victory

Every week, @splinterlands posts a challenge for players to post about their battle, using a specific card or splinter. This week’s challenge, is to use Mycelic Infantry!

Ruleset

Each monster has the Cripple ability-
Each time an enemy is hit by a Monster with Cripple it loses one max health.

Mana is capped at 52.

So, here was the team I put together:

Since, Mycelic Infantry is an Earth Monster, I began by choosing my Earth summoner. I picked, Lyanna Natura- a powerful Earth Summoner! Lyanna is at level 5 and adds an attack stat to each friendly magic monster!!

After the Magi of the Forest, Lyanna is the greatest summoner from Anumün. She has many powers in addition to summoning, including her ability to communicate clearly with animals. She is married to Aggrodius Lightbringer, and they live together in Draykh-Nahka with their two daughters, Kiara and Talia. Lyanna lives a busy and high-profile life, very different from her simple past on the Lyverian countryside.

I was already feeling confident, but let’s get to my monster line-up!

My Monster Lineup

In my tank position, I chose Mycelic Infantry! I usually only use this card when reverse speed is in the rule-set, but I was forced to use it here, because it was part of the challenge. Its other stats are pretty good, and it has some cool abilities. It's Shield ability Reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks. Also, When hit with a Ranged attack, Monsters with Return Fire will return reduced damage back to their attacker.

BRAMBLE PIXIE followed. I just love this card, and it has some pretty good stats. Its reach ability allows it to attack from this position. It also has the return fire ability, which, when hit with a rang attack, Monsters with Return Fire will return reduced damage back to their attacker.

I then chose, KRON THE UNDYING. Whenever I have space in my lineup, I always try to use this card. It's a no-brainer. The health and attack are great. It's slow, but the abilities make up for it! It has the ability to heal, and It also has the return fire ability, which, when hit with a rang attack, Monsters with Return Fire will return reduced damage back to their attacker.

GOBLIN PSYCHIC followed in 4th. I mainly picked this card for its awesome abilities. It has Tank Heal, which Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round. It has the Affliction ability, which means, When a Monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed. It also has the return fire ability, which, when hit with a rang attack, Monsters with Return Fire will return reduced damage back to their attacker.

MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN followed in 5th. I mainly picked this card for its awesome heath and Taunt ability! All enemy Monsters target this Monster (if they are able to). Taunt takes the focus off the other monsters, so they can pummel the enemy into submission.

CENTAURI MAGE, anchored the team. I chose this card mainly for the health! It's a fantastic anchor!

My battle went 4 rounds, and I only lost one monster.I was very happy with the team I assembled, and was very pleased with my victory ✌🏽

Cool stuff! I just read your comment on daltono's post and thought it was cool to bump into a fellow disabled guy here on hive. U also said u got a 13 y/o and i got 2 kids about that.. 14 and 17.
