There are always new events coming to Splinterlands, and it is very important to keep an eye on them so that you do not miss any opportunity to own something special, especially if you are eligible.

One of the best ways to stay updated is by regularly checking the Conflict Section, and that is exactly what I did today. There is a new summoner named Elowen Sylphie that is now available through the Conflict Section.

This card can be owned after 15 days, once the event requirements are fulfilled. To participate, you need to meet the criteria of the Conflict Section, which I have already discussed in my earlier blogs. You can check those posts if you want a detailed explanation.

In the screenshot below, you can see the summoner card I am talking about. It comes with some really interesting abilities, and let us take a look at them one by one.

The first ability is Bloodline Dominion. Along with that, the summoner also provides the Charge ability. This is a very strong ability in my opinion because it allows melee monsters to attack from any position.

Because of this, players can focus directly on choosing monsters based on how much melee damage they deal, without worrying too much about their positioning or other special abilities.

The next ability is Resurgence, which is a self resurrect ability. This means the unit can come back after being defeated, which can completely change the flow of a battle.

Another important ability is Trample. This is an older but very powerful ability. When a melee monster defeats an enemy unit, it immediately performs another melee attack on the next unit in line. This gives an extra attack opportunity every time a monster is defeated, which is a big advantage in close battles.

All these abilities together make Elowen Sylphie a very interesting summoner, especially for players who love the earth element. Anyone who can fulfill the requirements of the Conflict Section should definitely try their luck in this event.

To participate in the draw for this summoner, you need to make a 100000 contribution, which is required to become eligible. If you are not eligible, you can simply wait until the card goes live and then choose to rent it or buy it directly from the market.

As you can see in the screenshot below, there are still 15 days and 21 hours left before the event ends, so there is enough time for eligible players to prepare.

I am still a beginner in the game, so this event is not meant for me. However, I do enjoy sharing such updates so that others who are more experienced can benefit from them.

Today, I also completed my 5 battles for the daily requirement, but I am not going to share those battles in this post. Instead, I want to share the rewards I received. After completing my battles, I won Aurelia, Hungry Ulund, and 1 entry to the weekly draw.

At this point, I am not sure how useful winning Aurelia is for me because I already own this card, and it cannot be sold on the market. So I will most likely keep collecting these cards and combine them later to reach the maximum possible level.
