Spinterlands CHEAP POWER RENTAL GUIDE (maximize your profits)

(Edited)

So I been playing Spinterlands for more than a month now and have been renting all 3 seasons. I know getting those extra 10 chest in the end of season is pretty sweet but you need to rent for power. That's why I've learned a few tricks to keep them low and have the best bang for the buck on my rentals.

This is my standing last end of season.

Diamond II with 1056 dec rentals per day (my rentals include cards I use for rank battles)

Now most players know that Gold Foil Untamed/Reward legendries give 50,000 power. If your a newbie see https://bit.ly/3F0Zb2D

So the question is how much should we rent them 🤔🤔🤔

500dec?
1000dec??
2000dec??? (seriously I know people who rent/rented them on the last day)

How much and where to look

The most reasonable (not the cheapest yet) way I found for renting power is by getting 500power/1dec on my rentals.

This means that you can get:
15,000 power = 30dec
50,000 power = 100dec
100,000 power = 200dec

You can get this much power if you know where to look when renting.
That is the DEC/BCX which you can easily see on the Splinterlands market.

For example the card underlined above will give you 28,500 power
(19BCX x 1,500GF Alpha Common) for only 48.60dec/day.

If we divide 28,500 power / 48.60dec we will get 586 which is how much power we are renting per dec on that card.

But the best way to see the power/dec is to use DEC/BCX.
1,500GF Alpha Common / 2.56 DEC/BCX = 586 power/dec

Here's another card below worth renting for power and it's not gold foil...
120 Promo Rare / 0.13 DEC/BCX = 923 power/dec

So the best place to look when renting for power is DEC/BCX.

POWER RENTAL CHART

How to use the chart:

  1. You don't need to get the exact value on the chart above just getting cards close to them is good enough. Remember other players are looking to rent for power so speed is key.

  2. The values in the chart is simply a visual guide and most commonly seen on regular days. You will see a very different DEC/BCX on the market specially near end of season.

*Half = 1000power/dec (this is a snipe rent it quickly)
*Normal = 500power/dec (most reasonable value for me)
    *2x = 250 power/dec (near end of season)
*4x = 125 power/dec (I would only rent this if I really need it on the last day)

  3. When looking at list of cards in the market don't just focus on the cards in front. Some high level cards that have low dec/bcx are at the back.

  4. Try looking at non gold foils that have high levels. Some of them are really cheap to rent for power even better than gold foils.

  5. Check the gold foil version of the cards your going to rent for battles. They might be good deals giving you extra power and bonus dec per win.

Last notes

Sorry got lazy posting this. It's 2 days until the end of season and rentals are already going crazy. So here are some tips in the last day.

  • I don't find renting Epic & Legendary gold foils on the last day worth it most of them are overly hype cause they're the only cards people know to give high power. You're better off renting commons and rares for gold foils

  • Focus on non gold foils just look at the chart above you'll see they're more cheaper in the market
(even renting non gold foil rares for 0.10 dec is better you can rent a bunch of them at the same time in peakmonsters if your just pushing for silver III)

  • Think twice if you really want those extra chest cause DEC is really high rn meaning your rentals are also high

Hope this helps

Would appreciate some donates if you save some $$$ renting ign:meisterjay
