Mycelic Morphoid Lay Its Life

image.png
The Mycelic Morphoid, or the Mycelic twins as they are known in the Splinterlands kingdom, are on their evening walk one fine evening. They were walking the known paths of the forest. They stopped when they heard the rustling sound from a bush from over a few feet away.

They looked at each other and they shared the same sense of curiosity. They tiptoed their way to follow the rustle and they ended up at the opening of a cave.

They heard groans, grunts, and some other sounds that made them think that someone was being beat up.

They slowly peeked into the opening and they saw a bunch of monsters ganging up on some other group.

The twin turned away to avoid the confrontation but their conscience took over and they turner right back around.

They steadily and courageously walked over to them and shouted "Stop."

They pulled the Obsidian from the riot and hid her in their backs. The other monsters followed suit and fell back in formation.

In front, the Mycelic Morphoid twins walked up and faced the opposing monsters with vigor and valor.

Although they only have a very low HP at 1, their bravery can't be quantified and they even volunteer to take in the first hits from the opponent.

The next one to stand up is the Unicorn Mustang.
It's a solid stallion when it comes to defense. And he's even better because he's a double edged sword with its horn. A total defense and offense type of monster. He gives a lot of thanks to the Mycelic Morphoid for giving him a bit of boost on the defensive side.

On the third slot, came in the Regal Peryton.

A fast hitter indeed. With 5 speed, the Regal Peryton can really hurt you if you sleep on it. While the Mycelic Morphoid mans the front, this killer will sneak up in front of you for a quick slash.

In the fourth position, the Chaos Agent stealthily hover.

Just like what the Mycelic Morphoid does, it gives a bit of a cushion shielding the next monster in line.

And in the next line, the last position, the Psychic Goblin provides much-needed support. It heals the monster in the front, the Mycelic Morphoid in this case.

image.png
The Psychic doesn't only provide healing powers, it also gives a really good firepower with its 2 magic attack.

A couple of deep breaths and they're all set up to kill or be killed. At least in this way, it's a fair and square kind of game.

The opponent managed to take down my lineup starting with of course, the brave twins. And then my back line. Death Splinters have a way to sneak up on you.

But it was really a good fight. With all the misses the opponent threw at the Regal Peryton, the team managed to snatch the win away with the Unicorn Mustang playing the vanguard while the Regal Peryton confuses the enemies.

If you want to see the video replay of the battle, here it is.

If you want to join Splinterlands and watch the replay in game, here's the link.

My strategy worked out fine thanks mainly to the ability of the Regal Peryton that made the opponents miss a bunch of shots. But I think I'd still do the same and not make any change.

I like the Mycelic Morphoid because of its very low mana cost plus it has the thorn ability when leveled up.
