Splinterlands Share Your Battle : Crypt Beetle

It was a fine, dark, gloomy day in the deepest parts of Splinterlands. Thaddeus Brood decided to go out of his cave home and play outside. He wanted to go explore the forest and maybe find a new pet to play with.

He scoured every corner of the immediate perimeter and he swung from tree to tree. He turned every stone near the river and he was just eager to find a new plaything. And as he was ready to abandon his goal for the day, something flew past his head and immediately landed on a tree behind him. He followed it and climbed the tree where the thing landed on.

He examined it carefully and it was a Crypt Beetle. It was a rare kind of beetle that he only read about in the dark books. He quickly snatched the Crypt Beetle and captured it. He hurriedly went home.

He was so excited that he got something to add to his collection. He looked around his room and there were a lot of caged monsters around him. He decided to take out the Crypt Beetle for a spin. He selected five other monsters to accompany the Crypt Beetle in the battle.

And after selection, he was able to complete his lineup.

He decided to try out the Crypt Beetle and how the rumored sturdiness holds out in a battle.

image.png

He placed the beetle in front to serve as some sort of a shield for the tank. With its ability Shield, enemies will need to pack a bit more power into their hits before even hitting the tank.

For the second position, and the real tank, Cursed Windeku is there. Thaddeus caught this one from a village nearby.

image.png

He thought that this was a great tank with a high HP and a really handy ability of Thorns. It counters the enemy's melee attacks. It pairs well with the Crypt Beetle because it gives the Cursed Windeku a breathing room when it comes to taking huge hits.

In the third position, he placed the Life Sapper as an attacker.

image.png

Hiding behind the tough beetle and the Cursed Windeku, the Life Sapper tries to drain the enemies' life while it attacks them with magic blows.

Following the Life Sapper, the Death Elemental floats above them.

image.png

With its ability Snipe, it can take out the enemy's ranged attackers from afar. While the Crypt Beetle tries to protect the front, the Death Elemental does its job taking out the enemy's ranged damage dealers.

One of Thaddeus' favorite pets, the Silent Sha VI comes in number 5.

image.png

With a decent mana-health ratio, this attacker is a sneaky one. It has the ability to Sneak which targets the enemy's backline. It has a melee attack like the Crypt Beetle and it compliments the beetle with its pretty nice speed and damage.

And fearing that the enemy has someone with the Sneak ability, the Riftwing is there to serve as a back tank.

image.png

This riftwing is taken only in the battle to have decoy tank protection. It doesn't really give any value to the attack power of the team. While the Crypt Beetle mans the front, this little winged guy mans the back.

image.png

Thaddeus gives the whole team a bit of an advantage when it comes to magic battles because he debuffs the enemy's magic power and HP.

With his team now complete, he went out and set himself to bully someone around. He stumbled into a dwarf inside the forest. He noticed that the dwarf came from the fire nation and he was clearly out of his element.

Thaddeus jumped in front of the dwarf and taunted him. The dwarf was left without a choice aside to fight back.

image.png

The dwarf jumped backward and summoned some of his friends to help him. Thaddeus Brood led the squad to battle and with his growl, the bloodbath started.

image.png

After a few exchanges, Thaddeus' troops proved to be overwhelmingly more effective than the dwarf. They annihilated the whole gang with just a couple of casualties from their side.

The Crypt Beetle proved to be an effective decoy and it did its job to prolong the life of the real tank behind it.

Conclusion

My strategy worked out this time around. Putting my attackers in the middle really gave them enough chances to strike.

If I would do anything different from what I did, that will be to put the Riftwing in the front part of the lineup instead of the back. It will be more useful if it could take some hits for the others to survive.

I'm not sure if I like the Crypt Beetle but I think that it can be a surprise element when it comes to low-mana battles.

Whoever is directly controlling the V2K told me to kill myself.
They told me if I killed myself now it would save the lives of countless others.
Saying the longer I wait to kill myself the more people will suffer.

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. People are going to want you dead when they find out what you did. I hope you die a slow painful death. You sick mother fuckers.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
