❌Don't make these 3 beginner mistakes [ I already did them for you 😄]

After two months of playing my new favorite game here are some tips that might be helpful, if you want to save money, make money, or are new to SL and HIVE.

Mistake #1: Don't be a cheap chicken!

Be fast instead.

If you are a noob, don't play with the strongest cards. Use the fastest ones. Especially in Bronze, you have a significant edge. Speed matters in every league.

But the higher you play (I currently play in Gold II but it's kinda frustrating right now and I plan to play Silver I or Gold III) the more you have to pay attention to the decks of your opponents. The variety of cards increases significantly.

Mostly because you are up against level 4,5,6 cards that have extra abilities. Or summoners you never battled before.

That is why speed is so helpful in lower leagues.

Fewer things you need to be aware of. Which means you can keep it simple.

When it is close you win because of speed.

Rent Creeping Ooze. It costs you no more than 0.5 DEC per day.

Add a chicken for less than 4 DEC daily your win rate will go through the roof.

To sum it up:

1. Use speed
2. Keep it simple
3. Rent Ooze
4. Rent Chicken

Mistake #2: Don't use HIVE to trade SPS or DEC

Exchanging SPS to DEC or DEC to BNB and vice versa.

This can be tricky.

First of all: Don't use the Hive market. I tried it and paid about 100 $ US-Dollar because of the high spread. The Hive market is too illiquid for fast transactions.

Step 1:

Claim your SPS

Step 2:

Transfer it out to your Binanca Smart Chain wallet on Meta Mask

Step 3:

Go to Pancake Swap and add SPS & DEC manually. You need the contracts for SPS & DEC get them from coinmarketcap. Just copy-paste them.

Step 4

You can now exchange your SPS or DEC at any time to BNB using pancake swap. I also used biswap but the rates are too expensive. I also like using dextools.io but I get slightly better rates at pancake swap.

Mistake #3: Don't rent 315,000 power without having enough rating points to earn higher season rewards.

I know this Is obvious. But it just happened to me.

I rented 315k collection power because I wanted to get Diamond II rewards. I was super happy with the price although it was a little bit expensive.

I got 150 CP per 1 DEC. Not too bad at the end of a season.

After I did that I checked my league and I was confused because I only was Gold II.

I just forgot to play enough to rank higher. I know it's really obvious but maybe this helps just one person. This would make me super happy haha.
