THE UNSTOPPABLE MONSTER IN SPLINTERLANDS

In this week battle challenge, since i don’t have a match with giant roc, however i will discuss with another great card which is Serpent of Eld. This would be very helpful for lower bracket, that have a water quest.

SERPENT OF ELD

This is the unstoppable monster that i had mentioned in the tittle. Why? It only have 5 health?. I know i know but hear me out. With stats of 3 melee attack, 4 attack speed, 2 armors,5 health, and dodge ability which grants a chance for enemy's attack to miss. So with only rely on the stats of this card is till not enough to make it unstoppable, hence we need to combine it with Merdali Guardian and Scavo Hearling (did i pronounce it correctly? Oh sorry Scavo Hireling). I will talk about the combo in the “lineup” section. So stay tune.

RULE SET AND MANA CAP

In this battle, the unbanned splinters are fire, water, and dragon. Of course since Serpent of Eld is water splinter, hence i shall use water splinter. Mana cap in this battle is 30. This can be counted as a high mana pool battle with monsters counting from 5-6. The rules in this battle are no legendaries allowed. Only epic, rare, and common monsters are allowed in this battle. No worries this deck will not need legendaries. It only needs confidence and analytics. ;)

MY LINEUP

The summoner that i will use is Kelya Frendul (of course, since he is the free one), which it will grants me +1 attack speed along with armor. Then in 1st position, the one and only, the unstoppable Serpent of Eld. Which make it the priority tank in my lineup. 2nd position goes to Venari Wavesmith, which act as buff, magic attack, and secondary tank. Its abilities grant me +3 armor (I guess at this point you might know what i am up to right?). 3rd position goes to Merdaali Guardian, which acts as buff. Its abilities, heal grants me +2 health to my 1st tank and that is Serpent of Eld. Yeah i know what you all thinking, armor +4 with already available armor from its stat, making total armor of 6. But that’s not all, now into my 4th position is Scavo Hierling, which act as my buff also. Due to its abilities, my Serpent of Eld armor kept being recovered or other monsters that their armor had been reduced. Yuppp that’s what make my Serpent of Eld UNSTOPPABLE. Not to mentioned with attack speed of 4 then +1 from my summoner making total of 5 attack speed then dodge abilities. YUPPPPP the chances of enemy’s attack being missed is MASSIVE. As for the 5th and 6th position will goes to Ice pixies and Deeplurker, they both act as damage dealers. Ice pixies can penetrate armor from enemy due to its magic attack. And lastly Deeplurker act asassin that murder low health enemy. My attack threshold is 3+1+1+3 = 8 attack.

Opponent’s Lineup

My enemy summoner is Tarsa, which grant my enemy +1 in both melee attack and health. Then, 1st position goes to Radiated Scorcher, which acts as sacrificial pawn. I think my enemy did this so that Living Lava, which in 2nd position can attack with its mighty 3 +1 damage since Living Lava have slow attack speed (only 1 making it’s last attacker). 2nd position Living Lava, act as primary tank and damage dealer. 3nd position goes to Radiated Brute, act as attacker with it’s reach ability it can attack from 2nd position and secondary tank. Just from 3rd and 2nd position my enemy attack threshold had reached 4 + 3 = 7 melee attack. Then 4th position goes to Tenyii Striker, that act as assassin aiming the back side of my lineup due to sneak ability. For 5th position goes to Serpentine Spy, act as assassin that attack my lowest health in my lineup due to oppurtinity ability. Lastly 6th position goes to Djiin Aprretiance that act as damage dealer, that can penetrate my armor due to its magic damage. My enemy lineup focus on attack (mostly melee) with in total of attack threshold of 4 + 2 +3 +3 +2 = 14 attack. In comparison my attack threshold is only 8. Now you know the powerful attack of my enemy let’s consider their attack as immovable so that i could use the quote from Dark Knight Rises

“When immovable object meets unstoppable force”

now we’ll see the battle of POWERFUL vs UNSTOPPABLE.

THE BATTLE

Round 1

In early round 1 we can see the buff that added to both enemy and my monsters. Refer to my Serpent of Eld that granted with 5 attack speed, and 5 armors. Making him unstoppable to melee attack, in which my enemy main attack is melee

With my enemy sacrificial monster had died (in 1st position) now my monster can focus on attacking my enemy damage dealers. Notice as well that my enemy assassin (Serpentine Spy) had been murder as well due to Deep Lurker attack. Now his damage threshold had reduced to 12. Notice as well that my armor of Serpent of Eld still the same despite being attacked by living lava and 2nd position monster. This is due to scavo’s ability that recover shield.

Round 2

Now my enemy is in trouble due to my enemy primary tank had only 1 health left, while mine still in quite ok shape. But my Serpent of Eld will heal easily.

Round 3

Now my enemy Living lava had been murder, now i can easily attack the rest of the monster easily. Notice that my Serpent of Eld still have the same HP as round 2. This is due to heal and armor recovery from buff. Notice as well that my enemy tank only have 1 HP left.

Round 4

YUPPP despite taken so much damage by my enemy, my primary tank which is Serpent of Eld still alive, hence IT IS UNSTOPPABLE. With only 2 monsters left, while mine still on full health, what could my enemy do? Besides losing. BURN

Round 5

I WON. With my Serpent of Eld still ON FULL HP AND 4 ARMOR. Notability making it the UNSTOPPABLE MONSTER.
