Airdrops of the PKM Token Started on March 21! More to happen tomorrow, March 23!

Did you know there's a new token as a reward for buying cards on PeakMonsters?

The first airdrop started yesterday for large purchases and the Big Airdrop is tomorrow, March 23. For the official announcement, here's the official post from PeakMonsters.

First a quick rundown of PeakMonsters. PeakMonsters is the oldest market to buy, sell or rent Splinterlands cards. You can visit PeakMonsters and use the Hive Keychain to login.

So about those airdrops! On March 21, large purchases which are cards $10 or higher qualify for PKM tokens. So, I have been holding off on a few cards that I really wanted until the tokens were available.
I am excited to say, there's PKM in my wallet!

If you want to see your tokens and qualifying purchases, go under Profile (drop down menu, under your user name on the far upper right hand corner of the PeakMonster screen).

PKM Airdrops will be listed in the center of the screen, right hand side.

The BIG PKM TOKEN AIRDROP is March 23, tomorrow. The airdrop is based on the volume of purchases for 52 weeks. Your annual volume determines your Tier. In my case, I am Tier 7 and a Twisted HiveBringer. The estimates for AirDrops of PKM by tier is located at PEAKMONSTERS HOW TO GET AIRDROPS

You may be new to treating Splinterlands cards as investments. When I first considered buying cards as an investment, it seemed like a very unusual investment. I will post another article about how it's proceeding since I started three months ago.

However, I wanted to give a strong recommendation that if you plan to invest in cards that you should use @peakmonsters. First, I follow a pretty simple rule: No One Works For Free. That means, if I work for someone, I get paid. And if someone works for me, they get paid. In most cases, Peakmonsters receives 5% when a card is sold or rented. Of that 5%, 1% goes to Splinterlands. The 4% stays with Peakmonsters. There are other sites where the market fee is 3%, which means the site receives 2% and 1% goes to Splinterlands.
So you may ask, why buy at PeakMonsters? The reason is that the tools are better for a card investor. Look at one card I purchased and rented today at a rate of more than 800%.

Peakmonsters gives the card investor tools to be profitable. My mid-season rental return is 59%. That's a pretty decent ROI and it's much better at end of season.

The PKM AirDrops are a great thank you. I don't have any qualms that PeakMonsters is clearing 4% on most transactions. Remember, no one works for free. @Peakmonsters has a site that helps me make a better return on my investment. And that's why I use it.
