Hi everyone, above are the rewards I got for the end of season. It is my first end-of-season rewards ever since I started Splinterlands recently. When I first started, I remembered how I thought each season seem rather long, and it would take some time before I am able to get some rewards. And here we are, the end of season and the start of another. I guess I will start to get used to this cycle of seasons.

Looking at my rewards, I would say that they are pretty standard, would say I am lying if I didn't hope to get any epics or legendaries. But I do count myself lucky to get a rare at the very least.

Self reflection for last season

Looking back at my final day strategy, Silver 3 was too expensive (felt that it wasn't worth the rental) so I settled to rent till Bronze 1 (which I felt was abit expensive but in the end I tested out with gold foil cards so it was a learning experience for me, good tuition fees paid).

I think one more learning point for myself was that I wanted to use my rental cards on the day of season end to grind more DEC but the season ended and I mislooked the fact that our rating points will reset. Therefore it was a waste of my DCR and potential DEC I could have earned. Might want to remember this and avoid repeating the same mistake for this season.

Reminder to self

One final thing is that while I only played for 2 weeks now, it is a normal feeling to feel like I want to earn tons and tons of profit from the game. I had to keep reminding myself to be patient and focus on the fundamental knowledge so that I don't get disappointed or stress or burn myself out too much. There are many ways to earn in this game and I want to continue exploring.

In the meantime, writing blogposts is another way to earn and I also want to use it to document down my thought process and journey. I will write some posts in drafts first and publish them once my resource credits recharges. I would also need to save enough resource credits to do flipping in the market and necessary actions in Splinterlands.

Goal for next week

My goal for next week when my hive rewards are available is to probably stake the rewards for more resource credits. I would need to make sure all my actions and decisions reap me long-term rewards rather than just short-term rewards. Plan far and I will go far.
