In Splinterlands, those who can afford better and more cards, tend to have an edge in winning as they have more variety in their strategies to work with. Obviously, it would still take skills to win, but having more cards definitely increase your chances of winning.

But what if you don't have much to spend and cannot afford to buy cards? Then you are probably the same as me, someone who rent cards to climb through the ranks.

There is nothing shameful about renting, as a matter of fact, it is a legitimate strategy until you earn enough to afford your own cards. Sometimes, it might be more cost-effective to rent cards than buy cards.

Enough said. I wanted to share some cheap rental cards from each element (including Neutral) that you can consider to rent, at a cheap cost of 0.1 DEC per day, per card.

You can choose to rent all or you can choose to rent what you need.

If you are a new player starting out, I would recommend you to expose yourself to different cards through rental instead of buying cards. Every card game player has a specific playing style they enjoy, find the one that most suits you. Additionally, it is also through playing different cards that you slowly learn about each splinter, and also different cards and it will give you new ideas for different strategies.

General cards you can consider renting at 0.1 DEC/day

Obviously there are other cards you can rent to net you more victory, but this article is sharing with you cards you can consider (or might have mislooked) which might increase your chances of victory by a few %, just by spending a few decimal places of DEC.

In subsequent parts of the series, I will share

  • Below 1 DEC Cheap Rentals
  • Above 1 DEC Cheap Rentals
which consists of cards you can consider, and cards that I personally rent to climb the ranks.

In case you are wondering, I rent all my cards to climb (I do not own many cards other than the ones I win, which I then sold for more DEC). With the current economy, card values are only going to keep dropping and to optimize your earnings, it is best to sell your cards. That's why I am mostly renting and not holding on to any cards.

I plan to own cards once the general sale and card prices hit rocket low, that would be the best time to start being a owner of cards. Until then, I stand by my renting strategy.

Do share in the comments down below if:

  • there are certain useful 0.1 DEC cards that I missed out in this post
  • you find any of the information in the post useful for you
  • anything you would be interested to know about renting or rental cards

I will try to share any information to the best of my knowledge.

Thank you for reading.
