Getting Lucky Without Being a Splinterlands Whale!

For the past month or so, I haven't actively played Splinterlands. Not for any specific reason other than the fact that I just played the game too much the period before. I guess that happens when you overdo things.

To still generate some revenue from my cards, I decided to rent them out for a few weeks and just see what it brings. After dropping the cards on the renting market, I didn't check the Splinterlands page much, other than the occasional staking of SPS.

A few days ago, while checking in on my SPS, I saw that another airdrop had happened. While I never bought many packs through the Splinterlands page, I didn't expect anything from this one. There are big-shot buyers with way more chances to get lucky in the airdrops.

Well, this time it was different, at least for me! To my surprise, I was given the summoner card below! Of course, it brought a smile to my face! Especially given the fact that I only have 35 eligible pack purchases.

Although I haven't been able to play with the card, as I just rented out my complete deck, I do think it is quite a useful card. For now, I have rented it out with the rest of my deck. In a couple of weeks, when I feel like playing again, I will put it to the test in some battles.

There are still four more airdrops to come. Although you can never know, I'm guessing that my luck will be less in the coming ones. Time will tell. A long time that is, since the number of packs bought has been slow in the last months.
