And everything works this way, both in Splinterlands and in life.

But one thing I like to do—and also to say—is to highlight how beneficial it is to seek balance. Think about it. How often do we depend on very specific outcomes because we’ve bet everything on a single strategy? We like extremes because they grab more attention. Balance may seem boring, but it’s precisely what tends to yield the healthiest results—in everything.

My favorite strategy has become combining offense and defense. There comes a point where I do this so well that this balance actually seems like an imbalance. My offense and defense work in perfect harmony, and, modesty aside, I’m able to do this masterfully using the Life element. I won’t say much more about that right now.
