BLOCKCHAIN GAMING THOUGHTS
It has been awhile since my last post. Between work, family and friends I have just been busy. So today I thought I would do up a post to get me back into the swing of things, as we all get distracted at some point and we need to regain focus.
One of the reasons I have gotten distracted is because of a game I have been playing with friends. New World is a MMORPG with both PVP and PVE aspects to the game. Blockchain games have already come a long way I feel, but they really need to break into mainstream to be taken seriously. Playing New World with my friends has really highlighted how much more fun they are and I feel that the social side of blockchain gaming is where it is lacking not only in graphics and gameplay.
This is definitely a personal opinion and I do not expect everyone to share it but in the online games I have played. The ones I have played the longest have been the ones I play with friends. In-game interaction is a big thing for retention of players and can provide a better experience for the players.
At the moment almost all player to player interaction is out of game. The only player to player interaction in blockchain games is battles and trading. @Splinterlands has go a guild chat but our guild finds using discord easier. A game that could bring a welcomed change is @PsyberX.
PsyberX will be a First Person Shooter with both PVP and PVE elements. This could well be the game I have been waiting for. PsyberX’s marketplace is due to open in the coming weeks and is highly anticipated by those that have been holding the games token LVL.
But let’s not forget Splinterlands that still has yet to release lands. This game also has the potential to change it up and let’s not forget Splinterlands is the closest thing we have to a mainstream game at the moment. Splinterlands has done amazing things not just for the Hive blockchain but for blockchain gaming in general. Without games like Splinterlands and Axie Infinity blockchain gaming would not be what it is today.
For these reasons and more I have been investing in Splinterlands and PsyberX as I feel these are both in great place and have the ability to become even bigger. I know PsyberX has not launched yet so it maybe hard to see it’s potential but I definitely feel it has it. And well Splinterlands what can I say it just goes from strength to strength.

One up is a tribe on Hive Blockchain focused on blockchain gaming, the community there is very active and welcoming. They are working towards creating a Esport’s team for blockchain gaming from what I understand and even have a special token called Cartel , separate from their Oneup Token for those that really want to support them. Well, splinterland land will not be released before 2023. I think it will be a bit late and i will be looking for other games in the meantime.

Splinterlands will bring out lands. It may run behind schedule but they have always delivered what they said they would.
It’s good to look at other games though too and not just focus on one.
@psyberx is well worth a look if you have not checked it out yet.
You make a good point about playing with friends and talking while playing makes it so much better. Psyberx will be so much better than these other games and more fun. (IMHO)

A blockchain game with player interaction mode will certainly strengthen the bonds within friends. You get to see their fun aspect of life, their disappointment (when they lose), their struggle to achieve set goals in the game, and much more.
Friends will even motivate each other to accomplish higher goals and win more.
With the whole new setting PsyberX is bringing for Blockchain gaming, @psyberx is taking Blockchain gaming to a whole new level. 👌
I also believe that Psyberx's land will be 100% usable and will be the very first concern of the PsyberX team.
Using the case of the basic Grand Theft Auto as an example. We see the presence of Clubs, Hospitals, Casinos and different buildings. These are what will be built by those who have already bought a land in the game. And I believe those of us in Hive who have actually bought land, are privileged people and will enjoy the huge benefits when PsyberX hits both the crypto space and the Gaming world.

As far a PsyberX is concerned I feel it is going to be a massive success. I can not wait for it to be released. Just trying to control my excitement while I wait for the game to be made.

Considering the fact that it is an FPS game and also a Play to Earn crypto and NFTs. O boy! It will dominate the gaming world oooo
And truly, when we look at it critically, if the team achieves at least 70% of the development of this game.... I bet you, the 1 million users at launch will be an understatement.
