Winning Streak with Broken Arrows Ruleset - NERISSA TRIDAWN makes it Happen

Engaging the splinterlands game daily makes it more fun and helps me improve my gaming skills. Thanks to the team for daily and weekly improvements in the game features and functionalities. Striving hard to cover at least 25 battles allotted each day helps me to get acquainted with the battle ruleset and demands and its all exciting.

Days ago, I got the broken arrows rulesets severally and I am happy I maximized the multiple engagement to get better in selecting the right cards that would grant me winnings each time the broken arrows ruleset popped up.

When the broken arrows ruleset is active, monsters with ranged attacks cannot be used, and monsters with 2 types of attack (which include ranged) cannot be used.

Let's get in.

The broken arrows ruleset popped on three times.

• Battle 1 with 13 manna cap
• Battle 2 with 15 manna cap
• Battle 1 with 26 manna cap

I won all three battles. Let's dive in to see my line-ups for the battle and the battle outcomes. Something is common in all battles and that is KELYA FRENDUL was the Summoner and NERISSA TRIDAWN was always the first monster in the battle line. My choice of NERISSA TRIDAWN is that it is a magic attack monster.

NERISSA TRIDAWN is magic attack monster, rated 100 BCR and with a manna rating or 9. The monster has a health rating of 9 and speed of 2. Special monster has no ability but I wonder what makes the monster so powerful.

Battle 1

Manna cap: 13

Summoner: KELYA FRENDUL

First Monster in battle line: NERISSA TRIDAWN

The battle was between NERISSA TRIDAWN against four enemy monsters. This was because the manna cap of 13 could only take NERISSA TRIDAWN and I needed a strong monster. NERISSA TRIDAWN was so strong that it only lost the +2 armor received form the summoner and just 1 Health.

The battle ended with a win of +30 rating points (RP).

Battle 2

Manna cap: 15

Summoner: KELYA FRENDUL

First Monster in battle line: NERISSA TRIDAWN
Second Monster in battle line: ICE PIXIE

My monsters received + 1 speed and +1 armor. Adding ICE PIXIE to NERISSA TRIDAWN was to match up the 15 manna cap. ICE PIXIE is a low manna magic monster with amazing stats. It has the flying ability that can evade melee attacks. Its support for NERISSA TRIDAWN helped me secure the win with ease.

The battle ended with 3 health ratings on NERISSA TRIDAWN while ICE PIXIE was unhurt. The team won +27 battle RP.

Battle 3

Summoner: KELYA FRENDUL

First Monster in battle line: NERISSA TRIDAWN
Second Monster in battle line: DEEPLURKER
Third Monster in battle line: BAAKJIRA
Fourth Monster in battle line: HARDY STONEFISH

This was supposed to be a harder battle but NERISSA TRIDAWN's strength won't let it be. Together with DEEPLURKER, NERISSA TRIDAWN destroyed all four enemy monsters. Only 3 health and 2 armor of NERISSA TRIDAWN was destroyed. My other two monsters watched them destroy the enemi=y monsters. After four rounds of fight, we won with +17 battle RP.

With all three battles, NERISSA TRIDAWN always gave the last attack that secures the win for my team. The broken arrow ruleset prevented range attack monsters to be used in the battles. This gave my team an edge in each case as depended more on the magic attack capacity NERISSA TRIDAWN which destroys health directly.

The strategy I adopted for all three battles were same , setting NERISSA TRIDAWN in the first position for the battle. Should I have to fight future battles with broken arrows ruleset, I will still choose NERISSA TRIDAWN to lead the fight as long as the manna cap permits.

I sincerely love the NERISSA TRIDAWN character. Fierce to lead a battle especially with its magic attack that attacks an enemy's health directly ignoring the armor.
