My Splinterlands adventure in 2026 - week 16 - With more Conclave core and Escalation cards upgraded

Splinterlands' latest news are:
Escalation mini-series presale ended, and now we have only 163K out of 500K left, with Credits/DEC/SPS options to buy them.
The new voucher cards are here, Common dual Death/Earth for 25 Vouchers, Rare dual Water/Fire for 100 Vouchers and a Legendary dual Life/Dragon for 1050 Vouchers. The Common has Ranged attack, Rust and Heal, with 13 HP, the Rare card has 3 melee and 3 magic attack, wow!, and some serious attack boosting skills. I like this one. The Legendary card seems average to me, 3 melee attack, some relentless strike and life leech, now the greatest combination, I would say, for 1050 Vouchers per BCX. I may focus on the Rare cards, I think.

- The Conclave Arcana adventures continue, wagons staking for Conflicts, and I got one card on the first, the third, the fifth and the sixth airdrop. The eight airdrop card dropped and I got none. This is life. One more airdrop remaining, Dragonlord Mancer, with Scavenger for its Bloodline Dominion, Bloodlust and Corrupted Healing for two. Unlimited stats growth and heal, for two cards, now that's what we were missing. If you have seen what damage one Corrupted Healing card can do in Survival, imagine two of them, with Bloodlust on top of that. I like it!

- Staked SPS will be counted, along with staked GLX, for the Colony Airdrop, which it seems to go for 5 years, or at least that's what they said. There is a minimum requirement, though - 10K GLX, 100 GLUSD and/or 5K SPS. Enjoy!

Cards: My Splinterlands battle plans are going well, as I ended up reaching max level Gold I on Foundation and upgrading all cards to max level. On Rebellion, all legendary cards are upgraded to level 2, and all summoners to be upgraded next. On Conclave, I slowly upgrade my cards, buying cheap ones from the market. I need something crazy like 900K DEC to fully stake all my lands. I estimate that this will take me at least 10 months. A resource liquidity portfolio worth $30.07 today is increased every week.

Conclave goals:
All summoners max level - 0/7
All common level 2 - Done. All level 4 - Next
All rare level 1 - Done. All level 2 - Next
All epic level 1 - Done. All level 2 - Next
All legendary level 0 - Done. All level 1 - Next
Rebellion goals:
All summoners max level - 1/10
All common level 5 - Done. All level 6 - Next
All rare level 4 - Done. All level 5 - Next
All epic level 2 - Done. All level 3 - Next
All legendary level 2 - Done. All level 3 - Next
Rental stats: Today: 0.000/0.000 DEC
Cards upgraded:
I got to upgrade some cards from Escalation set. First, Ignited Alchemist to level 3, as I would like to get this one to max level, that Flame Fed ability is quite interesting:

A level 2 Drifting Manatee will get me a very useful Dodge skill on a 3 Mana cost tank.

The Grimshield Hexpriest looks like a decent anti-mage. Got magic reglect and next level will boost my magic attack.

Added one Epic to the mix, as this Saltwraith Corsair will get Kindred Spirit: Stun at level 2:

Some common cards now, first Godsnot Sorceress to level 4, raising the ranged attack to 6:

Blue Wyrm Travesty at level 3, gaining some interesting Slow skill:

Magnificent Mollust at level 3 gaining +1 Armor:

And one more from core cards from Conclave, up to level 4, gaining +1 Speed:

And the lovely Phlegmunculus gaining Close Range, but still quite squishy at level 2.

One more and I am done, Grimward Ruinshot to level 3 gaining +1 HP:

Plus two more BCX for the Grayhammer Painsmith, two more needed as the next 2 level will only add more life. It does look like a good max card though, but I may focus on the Rare card instead, seems more powerful:

This is all for today!
All the best,
George

Great progress in your Splinterlands journey! Do you think focusing on Rare cards will give better long-term value, or are Legendary cards still worth it?
Excellent cards, friend, and good gameplay.
