Speed Strategies for Splinterlands in Gold and Diamond League

(Edited)

Today I have gathered three battles revolving around the speed concept.

Battle no. one is about successfully taking down Waka Spiritblade, the summoner of the too-rich players, the "I have a Ferrari" types if you will.

I will just show you how the battle ended.

The next battle is a classic "Spreading Fury" battle. This enables "Enrage" on all monsters giving increased speed. Choosing high-speed monsters allows for a lot of misses, and we all know that they cannot kill what they cannot hit.

Please count with me the misses in this battle... one, two...six?

The third and last battle is one of Speed, Backfire and Blast.

For this strategy, it goes without saying that you are only as successful as you are faster than the opponent. This is based on the ability to strike first, kill first and evade hits. Therefore this strategy works incredibly well as a poor man's choice against some of the strategies revolving around very expensive, high-level monsters and summoners.

Here you can count six (6) misses with backfires, bringing us fast-and-loose to the ending picture below:

Below I have the three battle links for your amusement. Please try them out and most importantly, feed me some battle links of your own in the comments. Watching a well-strategized Splinterlands battle is as fun as it is important for our development of skills.

  1. NEVER count on Waka Spiritblade in Blast battles, count on Speed
  2. ALWAYS choose Speed when "Spreading Fury"
  3. KILLED by Backfire... Blast calls for speed - allways

Have fun out there... and make riches.

Please comment, like, disagree vehemently, as long as you engage.

All pictures and graphic content are free to use but belong mostly to Splinterlands. If I'm mistaken in any way, I will apologize profusely and adjust where possible.

New players blah, blah, blah, referral link et cetera.

Very nice one mate - I aswell am a big fan of speed setups, and often it works wonders in games that I would otherwise lose :)
