Hello, beautiful people from splinterlands,
How are you all? After a break, here I am to participate in this week's battle-mage secrets challenge. Usually, magic is my favorite unit to play with when available. So this week, we are focusing on the Lost Magic ruleset so be it.

Let's see the battle on the given ruleset and then discuss further…..

My Lineup & Rulset

Ruleset: Lost Magic

Description:

Magic units may not be used in battle.

• Use Thorns and Demoralize to counter melee attacks.
• Use Headwinds and Return Fire to counter ranged attacks.
• Units with 2 types of attack (which include magic) cannot be used.

Summoner: As my summoner I have decided to go with the UNDERBOSS FABINO, a Rare Earth Summoner. it gives two Melee units +2 attacks or One unit to be poisoned. My initial plan was to go with the extra Melee attacks and do more damage to my opponent with every attack.

1st Position: As for my first monster, I have chosen GRUND, an EPIC Earth monster. It cost me 10 mana but has 3 melee attacks with three speed, and 10 health. Also, it has the Double Strike ability so it would attack twice. From the summoner, I am gonna give it an extra 2 Melee attacks which would make this 5, and attacking twice, won't that be a deadly one?

2nd Position: In the second position, I have chosen Cursed PALLUS, It just cost me 8 mana but has 3 melee attacks with three speeds 7 health, and 1 armor. Also, it has the Reach and Flying ability. Trust me this one is the hero of the battle, due to the flying ability it survived till the end and gave me the victory.

3rd Position: In the 3rd position, I have chosen URAEUS, it's an EPIC Neutral monster. It just cost me 3 mana but has 1 melee attack with two speeds 2 health, and 1 armor. Also, it has the Reach and sneak ability to attack the last monster on the enemy team.

So the +2 Melee attacks were given to GRUND and PALLUS, so both of them were ready to attack with their 5 Melee attacks each, one of them for a double attack, joss!

At the end of round 1, my opponent lost its tank and I lost my third monster. I would say a good start for me.

That's where I got tensed about how to cover the loss of my Tank. PALLUS standing against three more monsters, I thought I had lost the match here.

See? Pallus survived three more rounds and at the 6th one, it did the last attack and got me the victory. It was due to its flying ability that saved it from the opponent's attacks, missed to damage my monster over and over again.

That's a win, yeahhhhhhh!
