💃❤️ Un baile, pasos prestados y mucho corazón ❤️💃 (Esp/Eng)
Estos días quise darme un pequeño espacio para hacer algo distinto y salir un poco de la rutina, y así nació este baile corto con mi cosplay de Jicarilla versión San Valentín. No fue algo tan fácil como parece, la verdad 😅. Aunque el video se ve corto y liviano, sí me costó un poco agarrarle el ritmo, porque no soy bailarina profesional ni mucho menos.
La canción es esa que estuvo muy viral, la que muchos conocen como “Ingles en miami” 😂. No sé el nombre exacto, pero apenas empezó a sonar en todos lados supe que en algún momento iba a caer. Tiene ese ritmo pegajoso que te obliga a moverte, aunque sea un poquito.
Para el baile me fijé en algunos pasos que vi en otros videos, traté de copiarlos a mi manera y adaptarlos a lo que podía hacer con el vestido y el cosplay. No quise algo perfecto ni súper ensayado, más bien algo natural, que se sintiera espontáneo. Hubo intentos, repeticiones, risas y uno que otro “no, este paso no me sale” 😂, pero al final lo importante era disfrutarlo.
El cosplay de Jicarilla de San Valentín, con tanto rojo y ese aire romántico pero atrevido, me daba ganas de moverme más que solo posar para fotos. Sentí que un baile, aunque sencillo, le daba vida al personaje y mostraba otra faceta, más relajada y divertida.
Sé que varios no alcanzaron a ver el video cuando lo subí, por eso quise contarlo por acá. A veces detrás de unos segundos de video hay nervios, práctica y ganas de hacerlo bien, pero también ganas de pasarlo bien sin exigirse de más.
Al final fue eso: atreverme, probar, equivocarme un poco y aun así subirlo.

These days, I wanted to give myself a little space to do something different and get out of my routine a bit, and that's how this short dance with my Valentine's Day version of Jicarilla cosplay came about. It wasn't as easy as it looks, to be honest. Although the video looks short and lighthearted, it did take me a while to get the hang of it, because I'm not a professional dancer, far from it.
The song is the one that went viral, the one many people know as “Ingles en Miami” 😂. I don't know the exact name, but as soon as it started playing everywhere, I knew it was going to be a hit. It has that catchy rhythm that makes you want to move, even if it's just a little bit.
For the dance, I looked at some steps I saw in other videos, tried to copy them in my own way, and adapt them to what I could do with the dress and cosplay. I didn't want something perfect or super rehearsed, but rather something natural that felt spontaneous. There were attempts, repetitions, laughter, and the occasional “no, I can't do this step” 😂, but in the end, the important thing was to enjoy it.
The Valentine's Day Jicarilla cosplay, with so much red and that romantic but daring air, made me want to move more than just pose for photos. I felt that a dance, even a simple one, brought the character to life and showed another side of her, more relaxed and fun.
I know that many of you didn't get to see the video when I uploaded it, so I wanted to share it here. Sometimes behind a few seconds of video there are nerves, practice, and the desire to do well, but also the desire to have fun without pushing yourself too hard.
In the end, that's what it was: daring to try, making a few mistakes, and uploading it anyway.
