Splinterlands Strategy: An Incredible Victory with the Magic of Dragon Summoner Sheng Xiao!

Splinterlands is a chess game where the position of each card and the power of the summoner make the difference between victory and defeat. Recently, I achieved a very nice victory in a match with a budget of 35 mana. The kind of strategy that my opponent and I devised in this match was really worth seeing. Today's blog is organised with the beginning and end of the battle of Dragon Summoner vs. Water/Life Summoner.

Selecting a summoner is the most important part at the beginning of any battle. In this match, I used Sheng Xiao, one of the most powerful summoners of the Dragon element. The specialty of this summoner is that it can spread poison on the opponent's units and has the ability to break their armour. As a result, no matter how much health the opponent has, they gradually become weaker.

On the other hand, my opponent INKKEN used the Prunda Undervesch summon. It is basically a combination of Life and Water elements. It is usually known for increasing the power of cards and giving some special status effects. Seeing this summon from the opponent, I knew from the beginning that the fight was going to be quite difficult.

My card positions and tactics
In this 35 mana match, I arranged the cards in such a way that both attack and defence were maintained. The cards I used are listed below in order:
- In the first position was Halfling Refugee. I used this card with only 1 mana as a tanker because its health was 6. Although its 'Weary' ability makes it prone to getting sluggish every round, it was still the best option to absorb the opponent's attacks in the beginning.

- In the second position, I placed Ironwing Juggernaut. It's 3 armour and 4 health, making it quite strong. The most important thing is its 'Charge' ability, which allows it to attack from any position.

- In the third position was Calamity. It is a versatile card. Its 'Shapeshift' ability gives it advantages over all bloodlines, and its 'Electrified' ability damages the opponent's units every round.

- In the fourth position, I used Forked-Tongue Sage. Its function was to 'Snipe'. It targets weak magic or ranged attackers behind it instead of directly attacking the enemy's front units.

- In fifth position was Kha'zi Fire Mage. Its 'Scattershot' and 'Dodge' abilities are enough to create chaos on the battlefield. It can attack any random enemy, which throws the opponent's plans into disarray.

- At the very end was my trump card, Rage. This monstrous dragon of 16 mana had 12 health and 5 armour. Its 'Flying' and 'Void' abilities protected it from magic attacks and normal physical attacks. When all the units in front were dead, it had the potential to win the match alone.

Battlefield and results
Let's take a look at the ruleset before the match started. This was a fight with a completely standard ruleset, where there were no additional modifiers. That is, the victory had to be ensured based on the basic ability of the cards.

After the fight started, it was seen that the opponent's units started to become toxic due to the effect of my dragon summoner, Sheng Xiao. My Halfling Refugee and Ironwing Juggernaut provided great defence from the front. On the other hand, Forked-Tongue Sage and Kha'zi Fire Mage continued to hit the opponent's important cards from the back.

In just 3 rounds, the opponent's strong lineup collapsed. When my 'Rage' dragon jumped in with its full power, the opponent had nothing left to do. As a result, I achieved a huge victory, and my rating and rewards increased.

Finally, in Splinterlands, it's not just about taking big mana cards, it's about placing them in the right positions and choosing the right summons that are the real charisma. This match will be memorable for me because of the correct use of the Dragon Summoner Sheng Xiao and the powerful finisher Rage. If you have a lot of Dragon cards, you can definitely try this combination. See you on the battlefield again!
