An exciting experience of upgrading the dragon summoner 'kavor skarn' from level 3 to 4 in splinterlands
Hello friends, how are you all? I hope you are having a great time in the blockchain gaming world and the battlefield of Splinterlands. Those who play this game regularly know how important it is to choose the right summoner at the right time. Today I would like to share with you a personal achievement of mine. Recently, I upgraded one of the most powerful summoners in my dragon deck, 'kavor skarn', from level 3 to level 4. Today's detailed discussion is about how this upgrade changed my gameplay and why this card should be in your collection as well.

Dragon cards in Splinterlands have always had a different charm. The main reason for this is that when you use Dragon Summoner, you get the opportunity to use cards of any element (Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death). However, the 'Kavor Skarn' card is a little more special. The first reason for this is its 'Mana Cost'. It is a summoner of only 3 mana. For those who play low-mana battles, a 3 mana summoner means the opportunity to use an additional 3 mana monster.

Special ability of the card: Bloodline Dominion
Kavor Skarn's main attraction is its 'Bloodline Dominion' ability. It mainly works on units of the 'Drakoshan' bloodline. When you use a Drakoshan card under this summoner, no matter what element it is brought from, it will immediately get some additional benefits. The most important of these is '+1 Speed'. Who will attack first in each round of the game depends on speed. And for just 3 mana, giving your entire Drakoshan team 1 speed boost means you can dominate your opponent right from the start of the battle.

Leveling up any Epic or Rare card is quite expensive and a matter of patience. When I was at level 3, I was doing pretty well in battles. But getting to level 4 was essential to survive in the Gold League and above. A total of 25 cards are required to reach level 4.
As you can see in the picture, when I combined the cards, there was a different excitement in my mind. After going to level 4, the 'Estimated Power' of this card stood at 500. This power is very important if you want to survive in the game's rankings. Also, the big advantage of using level 4 summoner is that it can now bring higher level Common, Rare and Epic monsters to the battlefield than before.

Many may wonder if there is much difference between level 3 and 4? The answer is yes. Card leveling in Splinterlands doesn't just increase stats, it balances your entire deck.
- Increased card limit: My level 4 Kavor Skarn will now support level 5 common cards and level 4 rare cards.
- Tactical advantage: In 3 mana battles, when the opponent gets 1 speed by using a 4 mana summoner, I get the same advantage by using this 3 mana summoner and I have 1 mana left. With this 1 mana, I can take a 'Chaos Agent' or other small monster that acts as a shield.
- Dracoshon Synergy: Cards from the Dracoshon bloodline are currently in a pretty meta. Adding +1 speed to them means reducing the chance of missing and getting the kill before the opponent.
Currently, the estimated value of this card is around $12 (as you can see in the card details). However, as the supply of cards in the game economy decreases, the price of cards with good power increases. Since Kavor Skarn is an effective dragon summoner, its value is likely to increase in the long run. I think it can be a great investment for those who want to play the game for a long time.

When I play low-mana or medium-mana battles and the dragon element is open, Kavor Skarn is my first choice. It is especially invincible in 'Little League' rules. When played in combination with Draconian monsters, the win rate increases to about 70-80 percent. With the +1 speed buff, my team can easily overwhelm the opponent's archers or magic attackers.
Finally, Splinterlands is not just a game, it's a mix of math and strategy. Bringing a 3-mana summoner like Kavor Skarn to level 4 was a game-changing decision for me. If you have some credits or decks, you might want to consider adding this card to your collection. Take the battlefield with +1 Speed along with Draconian power, and victory is guaranteed!
Do you have Kavor Skarn in your deck? Or what do you think about it? Be sure to let us know in the comments. See you in the next battle report. Until then, happy gaming!
