Buying high value rage card and upgrading two summoners

How are you all? I hope that by the grace of God, you are all very well and healthy. I am also very well. Many of us like to play games for a little entertainment in the midst of our busy daily lives. And if that game is 'Splinterlands', then it is no wonder! It is no longer just a game for me, but a place of emotion. Like every day, today I have come to share some of my new experiences with this game and the story of a big achievement.

Today is a special day for me in the game. Because I have been able to fulfill a long-cherished dream today. If you want to do well in Splinterlands and move up in the rankings, there is no alternative to a strong card collection. And for that purpose, today I have made some very expensive and powerful changes to my deck.

Only Splinterlands players know how powerful the cards of the Dragon element are. I had my eye on this devastating dragon monster called 'rage' for a long time. But even if I wanted to, I couldn't buy everything! I kept putting it off because of the high price of the card. I didn't have enough money, so I couldn't even dare to buy it.

Finally, I bought the card today with the money I had saved, after putting in a lot of effort. It cost me about $26 to buy this card, which is more than 3,000 taka in Bangladeshi taka. Although I was a little hesitant when spending so much money, after buying the card, it now seems like it was the right decision.

You can see the detailed stats of this 'rage' card that I bought in screenshots. It is a 16 mana card. You might be thinking that it is so much mana! But in high-mana or 99 mana battles, it has the power to crush the opponent alone.

  • Magic Attack: Its Magic Attack is 4, which can penetrate any armor and directly reduce health.

  • Health and Armor: Its 12 health and 5 armor keep it on the battlefield for a long time.

Ability: At level 1, it has the 'Flying' and 'Void' abilities. Being Flying makes it difficult for non-flying monsters to hit it, and the Void ability reduces the damage of the opponent's magic attacks.

Since this card came into my collection, my confidence in playing has increased a lot and my win rate in high-mana matches has also increased.

Low-mana battle strategy and Summoner upgrade

Big matches can be won with big cards, but in Splinterlands, we often have to play low-mana matches. Honestly, I was the weakest in these low-mana matches. I used to lose many easy matches because I didn't have a good level, a low mana summoner. To solve this problem, I upgraded two important summoners today.

Zeddica (Level 3):

I upgraded the 3 mana 'Zeddica' summoner to level 3. You can see it in screenshots. It is a unique summoner that allows you to use cards of both water and death elements. The main reason for leveling it to 3 is that now I can use the common and rare cards in my deck with their high-level abilities. I believe this will give me a great advantage in low mana battles.

Avina of the Wolf (Level 2):

In addition, I upgraded the life summoner 'Avina of the Wolf' to level 2 , This 5 mana summoner helps to increase the speed of my team on the battlefield or heal. Leveling up to 2 now allows me to use my life unit cards more powerfully.

Current League Position and My Progress

I am seeing the results of spending a lot of money and upgrading. You can understand it by looking at my current ranking and league position.

Frontier or Gold League:

In the first screenshot, you can see the current status of my Frontier mode. I am currently in the Gold I League.

  • My current rating: 3,360.

  • Global rank: 117.

There are only 8 days and 4 hours left until the end of the season. My Winstreak is currently at 9, which is very positive. Hopefully this season I will be able to step into the Diamond League.

Modern League:

The second screenshot shows my progress in the Modern League. Here I am in Silver II.

  • Rating: 1,480.

The biggest thing is, I am ranked 31st here! Being ranked 31st in so many competitions is a real honor for me.

As a season reward, I am accumulating a lot of 'Glint' tokens in my account, which can be used to buy better items in the future.

Spending $26 was not easy for me, but this investment was necessary for my long-term success in Splinterlands. The 'Rage' card and the newly leveled summoners have given my gameplay a whole new dimension. Where I used to be afraid, now I start battles with confidence.

I hope you liked my experience buying this card and the ranking update. Those of you who also play Splinterlands, please tell me in the comments about your current league and favorite cards. Everyone, stay well, stay healthy,y and keep gaming.

Thank you, everyone

The void ability on Rage is very powerful and the cards goes very well with Nidhoggr.
It's a good upgrade, for sure, although I seem to remember it used to be cheaper a few months ago. 26$ for a single copy might be a bit too much!
