Experience of buying and opening packs from the guild store in Splinterlands game

One of the most interesting aspects of the Splinterlands game is the guild brawl and the rewards or rewards received from it. The merits that we earn by regularly participating in the guild brawl can be used to buy various important items from the guild store. Recently, I finished another guild brawl and using the merits obtained from it, I opened three gladius cases or guild packs. Before opening these packs, I bought some necessary materials, which affected my chances of getting cards. In today's article, I am going to give a detailed description of those purchases and the cards obtained from the packs.

The main currency for purchases in the guild store is merits. A total of 8,222 merits were deposited in my account. From there, I decided to first buy 3 gladius cases. Each gladius case costs 2,000 merits, so it cost me a total of 6,000 merits to buy 3 cases.

When opening a Gladius case, you need special stones to increase your chances of getting good quality cards in addition to regular cards. These can be considered boosters. I bought two types of stones from the guild store:

This stone doubles the chance of getting Gold Foil cards when opening a Gladius case. Each Power Stone charge normally costs 74 Merits. Due to the 8% discount from the Guild Lodge, it cost me 1,110 Merits to buy 15 Power Stones.

Using Blood Stones doubles the chance of getting Legendary cards from a Gladius case. It costs 55 Merits per charge. After getting the 8% discount, it cost me 825 Merits to buy 15 Blood Stone charges.

The main reason for using these stones is to try to improve the quality of the cards. Although getting the Gladius case cards is completely a matter of luck, using these boosters gives you an added advantage of getting good cards.

After purchasing the necessary boosters and cases, I opened three packs one by one. Each pack contains 5 cards and is guaranteed to contain at least 1 Rare or better card. Below is a list of the cards I got from each pack:

Pack 1:

The cards I got from my first pack were of average quality, but here is a good rare card. The cards are:

Pack 2:

The second pack was a bit better quality than the first, as I got two rare cards from this pack. The cards are:

• Witch of Warwick (Common)

Pack 3:

I used 5 Blood Stones and 5 Power Stones as active boosters when opening my last, or third, pack. The cards obtained from this pack are:

• Isgald Vorst (Common)
• Orella Abadon (Rare)
• Relenor Cleaver (Rare)
• Witch of Warwick (Common)
• Helmet Kharafax (Common)

Gladia cards are usually soulbound. This means that these cards cannot be sold or transferred to another player. However, they are very important for the progress of the game, especially in Guild Brawl battles. Moreover, in some special rulesets of the game, such as "Are You Not Entertained?", a Gladius card can also be used in normal ranked battles.

The main feature of these cards is their "Bloodlust" ability. Whenever a Gladius card defeats an enemy card in a brawl or battle, all its stats or abilities (such as speed, attack, and life) increase.

Although no legendary or gold foil cards were obtained from these 3 packs, several excellent rare and common cards have been added to my collection. For example, 'Katrelba Gobson' is a very powerful sneak card that works great in the Earth element. Again, 'Isgald Vorst' card has an opportunity ability, which gives it an additional advantage when using a water deck. In addition, the rare cards obtained will help to upgrade the card's level later.

In conclusion, it is very important to play Brawl regularly and collect Gladius packs to strengthen your deck in Splinterlands. Although the desired legendary card did not come in this pack opening, these cards will still take my collection one step further to maintain the continuity of the game.
