Finally Unlocking Gold in Splinterlands: My Hard-earned Achievements and Great Rewards

Those who play Splinterlands regularly know very well how much of a hassle it can be to upgrade a league in this game. Especially in the Modern format, it has become quite difficult to play these days. I have been fighting the game for the past few days. I would win one match and lose the next two matches, and my rating would drop again. This up-and-down game sometimes felt quite frustrating. But I am not one to give up. Finally, after sweating a lot and spending a lot of time behind the game, today I got that desired moment. Yes, finally, after a lot of hard work, I was able to unlock the Gold Two league in the Modern format.

When the word Unlocked appeared in big letters on the screen and congratulated me on entering the new league, the amount of peace I felt inside my heart is indescribable. It was not an easy journey for me to reach Gold Two this season. I had to carefully select cards in each battle. It was a very challenging time, with all the tough opponents, rules, and strategies. But when the target was finally filled, all the pain and fatigue disappeared in an instant. After the league upgrade, the result of all my hard work came to me: the reward boxes.

I received a total of thirteen chests as rewards for the Gold to League. Eight of them were ordinary wooden chests, and the remaining five were blue, slightly premium,m and great-looking chests. After seeing the chests on the screen, my excitement doubled. Just before opening the boxes, the game asked me if I wanted to use any potions to open the chests. To improve the value of the rewards and increase the chances of getting legendary or epic cards, I confirmed using the legendary and alchemy potions I had without hesitation. Because I have come this far with so much difficulty, now there is no risk to be taken when it comes to rewards.

After confirming everything, when I started opening the chests one by one, there was a different excitement in my heart. The magical light and animation that comes out from inside when opening the special blue chests is a very happy moment for any gamer. Luckily, I did not have to be disappointed at all when I saw the rewards. I got several useful cards, several merits, and potions from the boxes. If we talk about cards, then the first thing I got was the three-mana Magmaforged card of the Fire element. I got two of these cards. In addition, the Death element's Culborn Revenant card has also been added to my collection. I got another very good card, which is the eight-mana Coralforged of the Water element. This card has quite good armor and health, which I think will provide great support if played in high-mana battles.

In addition to these common cards, I got two very nice, rare cards. One is the Gravebrand Warlock of the Death Element,t and the other is the Pixie Knife Hurler of the Life Element. The Gravebrand Warlock card caught my eye as soon as I looked at it. It's a wolf-like wizard character with a blue magical light in his hand and a small red devil-like creature sitting on his shoulder. I personally like the artwork on the card. And the Pixie Knife Hurler card is also pretty cool. It's basically a hippopotamus wearing huge armor and holding a small knife in its hand, ready to throw.

In addition to these nice cards, I got a good amount of merit from the chest. One box yielded 148 and the other 98 merits, which can later be used to buy a Gladius Case from the Guild Store. I also got some Alchemy and Legendary Potion Charges that will be useful again when opening the chests next season. Overall, today's achievement will be a very beautiful memory of my gaming life. After so many days of hard work, reaching the Gold 2 league and receiving such great rewards is truly a great feeling. This success will motivate me to play better in the days to come.
