How are you all? I hope you are all doing well and healthy. I am also doing well by the grace of God. In the gaming world, we all have new experiences every day, and that is what I am here to share with you today. Today was a special day for me. After battling for a long time, when the desired reward is received, the fatigue disappears in an instant. Today, I will talk about some special moments of my Splinterlands journey, rank updates, and a wonderful pack opening.

Current League and Ranking Update

The day started with some challenging battles. As you know, how important each match becomes towards the end of the season. I was continuing my gameplay, and after several wins, I was able to reach my desired position.

First of all, I am sharing my current profile status. As you can see in the first screenshot, I am currently in the GOLD I league. My current rating is 3,160. Being at the top of the Gold league is always challenging, as the opponents here come with some pretty strong decks.

If you look at the top of the screenshot, you will see that there are only 3 days and 21 hours left until the end of the current season. Trying to hold on to the league or even move up a bit in this final stretch is quite nerve-wracking. My energy bar is showing 42/50, meaning I am ready to play a few more matches. After completing the Daily Reward progress bar, I see that I have 1 reward waiting for me. And that is where the real surprise is!

Daily Rewards and a bang before the maintenance break

When I went to the rewards section after finishing the battle, a strange situation arose. If you look at the second picture, a red bar at the top of the game is showing a warning—"maintenance starting in 00:19:45". That means the game will go into maintenance or update in just 19 minutes. I had to claim my reward within this short time.

I clicked the 'Claim' button without delay. And wow! I must say my luck was pretty good today. I got a Foundation Pack as a reward and 3 Frontier Entries with it. Usually, packs are not always available in the daily rewards, so it was quite a joy for me to get a whole pack. These packs are quite valuable in the game ecosystem, because there is a possibility of getting good-quality cards from here.

Pack opening and the moment of excitement

I couldn't hold back anymore after getting the pack as a reward. I thought, let's open the pack before the maintenance starts. In the third screenshot, you can see the desired chest or pack in my inventory. In the background, that familiar magical glow of Splinterlands. I selected the pack to open.

The fourth screenshot is the moment when the heartbeat increases a little. After opening the pack, 5 cards are flipped over. When I opened the pack, I used the potions I had with me to increase the chance of getting a legendary or gold foil card. You can see my potions were active on the screen. Now it's time to reveal or flip the cards. I was wondering, will any gold foil or legendary cards come today? Or will I have to be satisfied with normal cards?

Card Reveal: What did I get today?

Finally, I pressed the 'Flip All' button and the cards were revealed. In the fifth screenshot, you can see my Pull or received cards today. Let's take a look at what cards I got and how important they are:

  1. Water-Logged Wizard (Rare):
A rare card to start with! This is a card from Water Splinter. The artwork on this 6 mana card is quite nice. This wizard can be quite effective for the magic attack of the Water deck. I hope its stats will strengthen my Water team in the future.

  2. Dread Tafarian (Common):
This is a huge 9 mana card from Earth Splinter. Although it is a common card, it seems like it may have a defensive or 'Taunt' ability (seeing the shield icon). It will provide good support as a tank on the frontline or backline in high mana matches.

  3. Sherringham Logger (Rare):
Another rare card! This time from Life Splinter. This 7 mana card looks quite aggressive. The axe or X in its hand suggests that it is a Melee attacker. I really needed to increase the variation of Life Splinter in the Gold League.

  4. Aurelia (Rare):
Today's pack is really lucky! This is my 3rd rare card out of 5 cards. This is a 6 mana card from Earth Splinter. The name 'Aurelia' and the picture seem like it could be a healer or orsupport-typee unit. There is no supporting card pair in the Earth team.

  5. New Beluroc Aegis (Common):
The last card is from Death Splinter. This 8 mana card seems quite heavy. Death Splinter cards are usually known for reducing the opponent's stats, but this card looks like it will work as a good defender or blocker on its own.

Overall, today was quite productive for me. Strengthening my position in the Gold 1 League and getting a pack as a reward at the end of the day were both satisfying. And although I didn't get any Legendary cards by opening the pack, getting 3 Rare cards together is no less lucky. I believe these new cards will strengthen my deck and help me rank better in the next season.

There are only 3 days left until the end of the season. My target will be to increase my rating further in these few days and get closer to the Diamond League. Those of you who are playing Splinterlands, how is your season going? And don't forget to let me know how you liked my pack opening today.

Everyone, stay well and healthy. InshaAllah, I will be back with a new update very soon.
