Guild Brawl's Best Rewards: Surprise Gold Kora and Epic Cards from 4 Packs!

Those who play Splinterlands regularly know how much excitement is hidden in every aspect of this game. Especially when the results of the Guild Brawl come out, it is difficult to explain how exciting that moment can be for a player. I have also been regularly spending time in Splinterlands for quite some time and participating in battles for my guild. Today was a completely different day for me, like winning the lottery. Because my performance in this Guild Brawl and its subsequent rewards really surprised me. I usually don't write much about the details of the game, but I couldn't help but share what happened today.

Our guild, named 'YGG Brawlers (Nidavellir)', performed quite well in this Guild Brawl. I personally played a total of 9 matches in this Brawl. Out of these, I won 7 and lost only 2. I was already in a good mood because of getting 7 wins. Because those of us who play in guilds know how important each win is for the guild's ranking. And the Merits or rewards that come with a win are an added bonus.

After the Brawl ended, when I saw that several Merits had been accumulated in my account, I decided that I would not delay any longer and buy a Gladius Case or pack with these Merits. With the Merits I had, I got the opportunity to buy a total of four packs. When I went to the guild store and bought the packs, there was a hidden excitement in my mind. This pack opening in Splinterlands is a game of luck. Sometimes normal cards come, and sometimes something comes that can turn the game around.

I opened a total of four packs. I didn't have much hope when I opened the first pack. I thought I would get some normal, common, or rare cards. As usual, I got some good cards, which will strengthen my deck. But the real surprise was waiting in the next packs. As I was flipping through the cards one by one, a gold foil card suddenly appeared before my eyes. And it wasn't just any card, it was one of the most powerful epic cards in the Gladius set—'Quora Towershead'.

Those who play Splinterlands know how terrifying the Quora card is. It is an Earth element card that can single-handedly crush an entire opponent. Its 'Bloodlust' and 'Heal' abilities make it invincible. And I got that card in Gold Foil! Getting a regular foil card is a matter of luck, while getting a Gold Foil Epic card was like a dream for me. The value of a Gold Foil card is always much higher, and the rewards are also greater when playing with it. This one card made the cost or trouble of opening my entire pack worth it. I couldn't believe it for a while that I now had a Golden Quora in my collection.

But the surprise didn't end there. While I was opening the rest of the packs, another Epic card came my way. This time the card was called 'Gorth'. It is a great Fire element card. The specialty of the Gorth card is its high health and powerful attack. When playing with the fire element, this card can really trouble the opponent in the front row or in the tanking position. Although it was not a gold foil, it was still a matter of luck to get Gorth as a normal epic card. Two epic cards in four packs, one of which is gold foil — such luck is not usually available to everyone.

Among the remaining cards were some useful common and rare cards, such as Katrelba Gobson, Chimney Wallstop, and Witch of Warwick. These cards are also quite useful, especially during Guild Brawl when there is a chance to use Gladius cards. I have won many matches in the past using Katrelba Gobson's 'Sneak' and 'Double Strike' abilities. So I am happy to get these cards again, because they will be useful for leveling up or increasing the power of the card. But today is actually completely in the hands of Quora Towershead and Gorth. In particular, the Gold Edition of Quora has not only enhanced the beauty of my account but also increased my confidence manifold.

This is where the real fun of playing Guild Brawl comes in. When you fight for your team and at the end of the day get rewards that cannot be bought on the marketplace (because Gladius cards are soul-bound or unsellable), then the love for the game increases even more. These cards cannot be sold, but the benefits that can be obtained in the game by using them are invaluable. My experience opening these four packs has taught me that if you patiently participate in Guild Brawl and accumulate merits, luck will help you at some point.

After opening this pack today, I am even more excited for the upcoming Brawls. I now have a new weapon in my hand, especially the Golden Quora. I am looking forward tobringingg this card to the battlefield, and its 'Bloodlust' will activate and destroy the opponent's cards one by one. It's the little moments like these in Splinterlands that keep ordinary players like us motivated to keep playing. I hope to perform better for the guild in the days to come and share more such great experiences with you. For now, I'm busy building my deck with my newly acquired cards. See you on the next Battlefield!
