New surprises in my collection: Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut and Nidhoggr!
All my Splinderlands friends, how are you all? I hope that by the grace of God, you are all healthy and well.
Today is a little different for me than other ordinary days. You can say that I am quite excited. Because those who play the Splinterlands game know how much joy it is for a gamer to buy a favourite card or Summoner. For a long time, I wanted to include some high-value or powerful cards in the market in my deck. But I kept putting them off because of the high price. Finally, today I fulfilled that desire!

In today's social media challenge, I will share how I bought my dream card by spending about 27-28 dollars and what its specialty is. Let's start my exciting shopping journey.
Prepare Funds or Tokens
Before buying anything, you need to balance your wallet, right? I had liquid HIVE, but to buy cards, I needed in-game currency or DEC.
First, I transferred 283,859 HIVE using my Hive Keychain wallet. As you know, to deposit into the Hive engine or game, you need to use a third-party bridge or swap service. I used @honey-swap here so that my tokens would be converted very quickly. If you notice in the memo, you will see that I sent it to receive as hivepegged tokens or SWAP.HIVE.

Wallet Check and DEC Swap
The money has been sent, now it's time to bring it into the game. As soon as I entered the Hive Engine, I checked my balance. My goal was to collect DEC (Dark Energy Crystals), because I would have to pay DEC to buy the card.
My wallet had about 47,789 DEC at that time, which is worth more than $30 today. Seeing this amount, a peace of mind was working in my mind that, come on! Now the card will be mine.

Transfer tokens to the game
You can no longer buy cards by holding tokens in the Hive Engine, so you have to transfer them to the main game or to the in-game wallet. I transferred my entire DEC balance to the game. Although the process is very simple, you always have to be a little careful when transferring large amounts.

That magic moment - buying the card!
Finally, the moment came! I went to the market and selected my much-desired card, Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut.
This card costs around 21,790 DEC. To be honest, my hand was shaking a little when I clicked the 'Confirm' button. Almost 22,000 DEC was being spent in an instant! But then I thought about how much this card would increase my gameplay and win rate. So without further ado, I bought it.

Why is this card and summoner so special?
Now let's talk about why I spent so much money on these cards.
dar 'gottem' gearnut (the tank):
This is a Gnome unit, ca, rd and its stats will blow anyone's mind!
Mana Cost: 14 (a huge card!)
Health: 20! (Can you imagine?)
Shield: 3
Ability: Its main strength is its Taunt ability. That is, all the opponent's monsters will attack it first. And with 20 health, it will stand alone like a mountain, while the cards behind me will destroy the enemies.

nidhoggr (the dragon summoner):
I am using the dragon summoner Nidhoggr with this. I like this summoner because it gives a serious debuff to the opposing team.
It reduces the enemy's armour by -1 and health by -1. The enemies are weakened before they enter the battlefield. Also, due to its special ability, I can use any element card with it.

First use on the Battlefield
I couldn't stand it anymore after buying it. I went straight to the Battlefield. You can see my lineup in the last screenshot.
In front of me is the monstrous Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut with 20 health, and he is supported by my new Dragon Summoner Nidhoggr. Along with other support cards. This combination is so powerful that I believe you won't have to be very fast to defeat your opponent. This new power is now added to my profile, MIRZAIQI.

After a lot of time saving tokens and planning, today's purchase gave me great satisfaction. The fun of the Splinterlands game is here - playing patiently and strengthening your team. Hopefully, with these new cards, I can reach a higher league.
For those of you who are playing, how did you like this card? Don't forget to let me know in the comments. Good luck to everyone, see you in the game.
