OMG Splinterlands Guild Brawl fight 3 battle win
The game Splinterlands has always been an exciting experience for me. Especially when the guild brawl starts, the excitement level doubles. But this time, the brawl was completely different and incredible for me.

I am a proud member of the ygg brawlers (nidavellir guild. To be honest, my card collection is not very large. Sometimes it feels like I may not be able to survive in front of big investors or pro players. But Splinterlands is a game where strategy is much more important than card power. In this brawl, I was allowed to participate in a total of 8 battles. Out of them, I have completed 5 battles so far and I can't believe my eyes that I have won 3 of them!
This is a great achievement for a player like me with a simple card collection. Today I will share with you my three exciting winning moments and strategies.
First Battle: The Challenge of Low Mana and Armor
My first win was against #LEZSHIN28. This match was only 13 Mana.

✅Rulesets:

Shapeshift: All units will be considered to be of all bloodlines.
Armored Up: All units will get +2 Armor to start.

Playing 13 Mana means choosing your cards very carefully. Since there were Armored Up rules, I knew that all of my opponent's monsters would have extra protection. To break through this armor or bypass the armor, I needed a magic attack or special ability.

I decided to use my 3 mana #ManaZeddica summoner, also I use water splinter and Death Splinter card. My opponent came out with Water Splinter. In low mana games, fast and low mana cards are usually game changers. My strategy was to ignore the opponent's armor and directly hit their health or life or quickly defeat them. In the end, my strategy worked and I got an easy win. This win gave me confidence that even with small cards, big wins are possible.
Battle 2: Strategic victory on the path of thorns

The second battle win was the most satisfying for me. My opponent was #LUCIANOHIPOLITO. This match was worth 39 mana.
✅Rulesets:

Briar Patch (Thorns): All units will have thorns on them, meaning that if they attack with melee, they will take 2 damage instead.
FabFour: A maximum of 4 monsters can be used.
Painforge: Units' special abilities increase when they take damage.
Here, my opponent used Earth Splinter's powerful Immortalis Summons, which reduces magic damage. But I had observed the ruleset very well. Since I have Thorns, using melee attacks was suicidal.

So I used my most favorite summoner #Nidhoggr and ability select blast.

Using magic attack units, the opponent's thorns could not harm me. My monsters attacked safely from a distance and broke through the opponent's strong defenses. Choosing the right combination was the key to victory in this challenge of only 4 units.
Third Battle: A game of healing and magic

My third victory came against #JIMBOY22. The mana cap for this match was 31.
✅Rulesets:

Armored Up: All units get +2 armor.
Armored Up rules were also there, which gave good defense against physical attacks. But magic attacks can pierce armor and deal direct health damage. So I chose Earth Splinter and Summoner Obsidian, which gave all my magic monsters +1 power.

My lineup consisted of Regal Peryton (for high speed), Goblin Psychic (as a tank healer), and Mycelic Slipspawn (for a taunt ability).
My opponent used Dragon/Earth Splinter. But my Obsidian's increased magic power didn't bother their armor. Mycelic Slipspawn drew all of the opponent's attacks towards itself, and Goblin Psychic kept him alive by healing from behind. The rest of my monsters took advantage of this opportunity to destroy the opponent. It was a perfect example of teamwork.
My Experience and Learning
What I learned from these three battles is that understanding the ruleset is much more important than the quality of the cards in Splinterlands.
Ruleset Analysis: Behind every win was choosing the right counter cards according to the rules. For example, using Ranged or Magic if you have Thorns.
Confidence: I gave my best without being afraid of thinking that I have fewer cards.
Guild Support: I am proud to be a part of the YGG Brawlers guild, because playing here is where I am making myself more skilled.
I still have 3 battles left. I don't know what will happen in them, but with the courage that these 3 wins have given me, I will fight until the end. For those like me who are new or playing with a small collection, I would say—don't give up. With the right strategy, you can also defeat big whales!
