Splinterlands Diary: The thrill of 5 consecutive wins and the incredible feeling of getting a gold card!

Those who regularly roam the world of online gaming know very well that if you spend time on a game day after day, it creates a different illusion for it. For me, the game 'Splinterlands' is just such a place of love. There is no counting how many new experiences you have every day while playing this blockchain-based game. However, outside of the daily routine gaming, sometimes some days fill your mind with absolute joy as a gamer. Today is such a memorable day in my Splinterlands journey. I thought I would share the story of this extraordinary feeling I had today with all of you.

For the past few days, I have been spending more time only on the 'Modern Combat' league in Splinterlands. Playing in the Modern format is quite challenging, and you have to maintain a lot of focus to survive there. Playing in the same format for a long time like this was getting a bit boring. I felt like I needed to play a little differently today. So I decided to take a break from the monotonous routine of every day. I thought, let's relax a little today and focus on the 'Fortune Battle' or Daily Reward. I told my mind, there is no pressure today, no matter if I win or lose, I will just enjoy the gameplay.

I started playing in a very relaxed mood. And I don't know if you will believe it or not, but I felt how much better the gameplay is when the mind is free of pressure today. It was as if the decks I had arranged understood my mind today. My battle today started with great strategies and card combinations. I am playing and winning one match after another! The first battle, the second battle, the third battle—in this way, I won five battles in a row! Those who play Splinterlands must know how exciting it is to win 5 matches in a row against good players. The peace that was working in my mind after these 5 wins is actually indescribable. It felt like today was made just for me.

After these extraordinary victories in a row, a reward was naturally waiting for me. I got a chest or pack. The moment of opening this pack in the Splinterlands game is probably the most exciting. When I clicked to open the pack, a great animation appeared on the screen (as you can see in my first screenshot). The box seemed to burst out of the magical blue light. Then five cards floated upside down on the screen. At this time, a strange throbbing worked in my chest. The question repeatedly arose in my mind— "Will I get something special today? Or will I have to be satisfied with ordinary cards?"

I waited for a while and clicked the 'Flip All' button. And as soon as the cards were flipped, my eyes widened! Suddenly, a golden card flashed in the lower right corner of the screen amidst the usual rare and common cards! Yes, my luck is really good today, I got a 'Gold Foil' card!

The card's name is 'Dread Tafarian'. It is a leonine or lion-shaped monster card from Earth Splinter. Getting a Gold Foil card is a huge luck in the game, and my joy doubled when I saw the stats and abilities of this card. It is a heavyweight card with a 9 mana requirement. If you look at the screenshots of its stats, you will see that it has 8 health, 1 melee attack, 1 shield or armor, and 2 speed.

But the most magical aspect of this card is its 'Auto Healing' or ability to heal itself automatically. According to the rules of the game, due to this 'Heal' ability, it can recover 1/3 of its maximum health by itself at the end of each round. This means that if I put it in the front row (as a Tank) during the battle, the opponent will not be able to easily defeat it. It will take a beating, but it will increase its own life! It goes without saying that the power of my deck has increased manifold with the addition of such a powerful gold card to Earth Splinter's lineup.

But the surprise did not end here! Before I could fully digest the joy of the gold card, I noticed that some other wonderful cards had come out of the pack. One of these cards particularly caught my attention. It was a rare card called 'Incessant Sage'. This card, which features a cute owl wearing glasses and a blue wizard's robe on a golden background, is as beautiful to look at as it is to use in-game. It is basically a Life Splinter card. I am sure that this card will give me a lot of support when I battle with Life Splinter in the coming days. In addition, I also got two other rare cards like 'Nim Guard Captain' and 'Water-Logged Wizard' from this same pack, which have enriched my collection.

All in all, I am really excited and satisfied with the rewards I got from opening this pack today. The real fun of playing Splinterlands seems to be in this place of uncertainty. Sometimes it can be very frustrating to lose in a row, but suddenly,y one day, just like today, such great cards come and make the whole mood better. Today's 5 consecutive wins and getting a gold card will be a memory I will remember for a long time as a Splinterlands lover.
