Splinterlands Diary: Why I Upgraded Avina of the Wolf Summoner to Level 3?
How are you all? I hope you are all well and your Splinterlands journey is going well. As a regular player, we always want to strengthen our deck or card collection. Upgrading cards is an essential part of staying ahead in the game strategy. Recently, I upgraded one of the most popular summoners in my Life Splinter, Avina of the Wolf, from Level 2 to Level 3. It cost me a lot of money and time to upgrade, but today I will discuss in detail why I made this decision.

Those who play Splinterlands regularly know how important Summoners are. Because the level of your Summoner determines how many levels of monsters or monster cards you can use in battle. Avina of the Wolf is a Rare card and is part of the Rebellion set. When I was at level 2, I had a lot of limitations. But after going to level 3, my deck has become much stronger and more effective.
First, let's talk about the special ability of this card. Avina of the Wolf is a 'Tactics' summoner. This means that it gives you two special benefits or options at the beginning of the battle. If you want, you can increase the speed or speed of two specific cards, or you can give any one of the cards the opportunity to 'heal' or increase life. Speed or speed is very important in the current meta. Whoever's card attacks first, has a much higher chance of winning. By going to level 3, I can now use higher level monsters to take advantage of this speed boost, which is very important to survive in the Silver League.
If you look at the screenshots, I needed a total of 14 cards to reach level 3. Of these, 10 cards had to be re-combined. Considering the market value of each card and the current crypto market conditions, this is a big investment. Collecting this huge amount of cards at a cost of about $0.57 per card was not easy at all. But in the long run, it is very profitable. Because the level 3 Summoner means that now I can use common cards up to level 4 and rare cards up to level 3. This will increase the rate of getting rewards in the game much more than before.

Many may ask, why didn't I choose another Summoner? The simple answer is the versatility of Avina of the Wolf. In Life Splinter, we usually play defensively. But Avina allows you to play aggressively. Especially when you participate in a battle with a large mana cap, this extra speed can change the fate of your entire team. When this Summoner's status is upgraded to level 3, it brings a kind of confidence to your gameplay.
While I was combining the cards, I was worried that this was the right decision. Because once a card is combined, it cannot be taken back. But as you can see in the screenshot, the new level 3 card has now added a different kind of nobility to my game profile. This is not only a pleasure for me as a collector, but also a well-thought-out plan to increase my earnings or income within the game.

Finally, Splinterlands is not just a game, it is a place for strategy and investment. I think taking Avena of the Wolf to level 3 is one of the best decisions of my gaming career. This will allow me to face more difficult opponents in the days to come and I hope to do well in big tournaments. Those of you who are working on Life Splinter, can take a look at this card. If you have this in your card collection, you will definitely be one step ahead of others on the battlefield.
Everyone be well and if you have any questions or opinions, be sure to let me know. Happy gaming!
