Hello splinterlands

One of the most interesting aspects of the Splinterlands game is its ever-changing meta and the inclusion of new card sets. Conclave Arcana Escalation is one such new edition, which has given players the opportunity to create new strategies. In such card games, each card has its own characteristics, and using the right card at the right time can determine the outcome of the match. Today, we will discuss the cards received after purchasing a pack of this new set and their general functionality.

The entire process of purchasing the pack is quite simple and straightforward. This Escalation pack is collected by spending 5,000 credits from the game shop. After purchasing the pack, the account balance can be changed, which is part of the normal transaction process of the game. Each pack contains five cards and according to the game rules, at least one card is guaranteed to be rare or better. To open the pack, you have to go to the game's 'Mana-Well' interface. There, the gorgeous red and gold design on the back of the cards appears on the screen, which creates a kind of curiosity among players. Then the cards are flipped one by one and revealed.

The first card obtained from this pack opening is the Earth element's 'Living Berm'. It is a common card with a mana cost of 10. Analyzing its stats, it can be seen that it has 3 micro attack, 3 armor, and 6 health. Although this card is difficult to use in normal small matches due to its high mana cost, it can play a very effective role in large-scale or high-mana cap battles. Due to its good combination of armor and health, it can survive on the frontline for some time.

The second card found is the only rare card in this pack, 'Drifting Manatee'. It is a water element card with a mana cost of only 3. The specialty of the card is its relatively high health (6) against its low mana cost. In addition, it has 1 magic attack and 2 armor. It is usually difficult to find good quality defensive cards in low mana matches, in which case this card can be a good addition for water deck users.

The third card is the Life Element's 'Steelshield Arbalest'. This is a common card with a mana cost of 9. It has 5 speed, 5 armor and 5 health, as well as a ranged attack of 2. Due to its high speed, it will have the opportunity to attack before the opponent's cards. It is a useful card for long-range attacks from the back line.

The fourth card is the largest and heaviest card in this pack, called 'Doomshield Warden'. This Life Element common card has a mana cost of 14, which is one of the highest mana cost cards in the game. However, its power is not small either. It has 4 micro attack, 7 armor and 9 health. With a large amount of armor and health, it will be able to withstand major attacks from the opponent. Especially in matches where there is no or very high mana limit, this card can be a great strength for the defense line.

The fifth and final card is the Death Element's 'Shire Knocker'. This 5 mana common card has 2 ranged attacks, 1 armor, and 4 health. This medium-quality card can be used as a backup ranged attacker in any normal match.

An overall assessment of these five cards shows that there is quite a variety in the mana of the cards obtained. There are small cards of 3 mana, as well as huge cards of 14 or 10 mana. Card games have to face different situations, so these cards will help to increase the diversity of the deck. New cards will enrich the player's collection a bit and create opportunities for using some new strategies in future matches.
