Splinterlands game: Season Rewards and Card Openings

The end of each season in Splinterlands brings new excitement. Recently, a season ended, and as always, I collected some rewards or prizes at the end of the season. In today's article, I will share with you how I used the rewards I received at the end of the season to buy some useful potions and card packs and what cards I got by opening them.

As you can see in the screenshot above, at the end of the season, I got a total of 13,403 Glint. In addition, my account name "MIRZAIQI" and my current balance are displayed on the dashboard. With these Glint tokens, I can directly buy card packs or other useful items. However, before opening the card pack, I needed to take some preparations. Using potions is very important to increase the chances of getting good-quality cards from the card pack.

So first, I decided to buy a Legendary Potion from the shop. Using this potion doubles the chance of getting a Legendary card from the pack. As you can see in the screenshot, I spent 8,096 Glints to buy 110 Legendary Potions. Here, we got an 8% discount from our guild, which was quite useful. After buying the potions, my balance stood at 20,742 Glints.

In addition to the Legendary Potion, I needed to buy an Alchemy Potion to increase my chances of getting a Gold Foil card. Alchemy Potion basically doubles the chance of getting a Gold Foil card. So I went back to the shop and bought 110 Alchemy Potions. Here too, the 8% discount from the guild lodge was effective,e and a total of 10,120 Glints were spent. After purchasing these potions, I had 12,646 Glints left in my account. Now I have enough potions to open the pack.

After purchasing the potions, I turned my attention directly to buying the card packs. I decided to buy the Foundations Pack. Each Foundations Pack contains 5 cards, with at least one of them guaranteed to be Rare or better. I spent 278 Credits from my balance to order a total of 7 Foundations Packs. Each package costs about 39,714 Credits.

After purchasing the packs, I went to my inventory to open them. As you can see in the screenshot, I now have 7 Foundations Packs in my inventory. The game interface asks me how many packs I want to open at once. Without waiting, I set the number to open all the packs, that is, 7 packs at once, and clicked the 'Open' button.

This screenshot shows the beautiful animation of the cards coming out of the pack. The moment of opening this card in the Splinterlands game is always quite exciting. There is a slight excitement in the chest that maybe this time a good card will be found. Especially when the potion is active at the back, the hope of getting something good increases even more.

You can see the cards that I got in the first batch after opening the packs in the screenshot above. I got a pretty cool card in the first batch! A gold foil rare card came, called "Sturdy Axe Warden". It is a fire element card, and its golden border looks pretty nice. In addition, in this batch, I got Mad Gearhead, Chaos Furybringer, another common Sturdy Axe Warden, Port Guardian and Dire Bear. It was quite a joy to get gold foil from the first packs.

After opening the next batch of cards, my joy level increased even more. Because this time I got a Legendary card! The Life Element Legendary card "Great Bear Druid" has come to this pack. I hope its design and power will be very useful in various battles in the game. In this batch, I also got a Rare card "Incessant Sage" and several Common cards such as Kanaaq Miner, Black Widow, Grand Consul Minion and Spitting Camel. I saw the benefits of using Legendary Potions directly here.

In the next card opening step, we can see some good-quality rare cards. These include "Paprikash" and the Death Element "Thalgrimore". These can provide quite good support during the fight. Among the Common cards in this batch are Wilhelmdale Deputy, Colossus Raider, Frankarsgard and Spinetail Fiend. The variety of cards will help strengthen the game deck.

The last screenshot shows the remaining cards. I got some important, rare cards in this last step. Such as Savage Butcher, Frostguard Warrior, Moros Malik and Barthalamas. Also, common cards include New Beluroc Aegis and Hungry Ulund. In total, I was able to collect some pretty cool cards by opening 7 packs.

This end-of-season experience in Splinterlands was quite good. Buying potions with Glint and opening the Foundations pack with credits to get a Gold Foil Rare and a Legendary card was really rewarding. These new cards will strengthen my deck for the upcoming season's battles. I will continue to play the game tometo dog better in the new season.
