Splinterlands Guild Brawl: A story of fierce battles and victory in toxic smoke!

Good morning, friends!

This morning was a little different for me. I woke up and participated in the Brawl session for my guild,d "Silence Behind the Moon. For those of us who play Splinterlands, Guild Brawl means extra excitement and a fight to win points for the team.

In today's Fray, I played a total of 3 matches. Although I lost 1 of them, I won the other 2. However, today's battles were not easy at all. Especially the rulesets were mind-blowing!

Let's discuss my two best battles of the day and the round-by-round situation in detail.

First Battle: When all powers are useless (defeat)

The day started with a tough challenge. This match was basically a "Stat Check" or test of how powerful a card is, because the ruleset was very strange.

  • Battle Info:

  • Mana: 22

  • Rulesets:

  • Holy Protection: Divine Shield for all (ignores first damage).

  • Armoured Up: Armour for all +2.

  • Back to Basics: All monsters lose their own abilities.

  • Opponent: MAKDEV5

Battle Round Analysis:

**Round 1 and 2:

Since the "Back to Basics" ruleset was in effect, none of my monsters' special abilities (such as Sneak, Heal, or Tank Heal) were working. The fight was completely dependent on whose monster had more health and attack power. Since both myopponentst had "Holy Protection," the first few attacks didn't deal any damage.

**Round 3 and 4:

In round 3, the real battle began. The opponent's Life Splinter armour and ranged attacks were putting a lot of pressure on my tank. My cards were trying to break through the defence, but the opponent's extra armour (due to the Armoured Up ruleset) was getting in the way.

**Round 6 and 7 (final scene):

The match dragged on and went on until round 7. But eventually, I couldn't survive as my monsters' health was running low. The opponent's card selection was a bit better than mine for this specific ruleset. As a result, I had to fight and eventually lose.

Battle 2: Surviving in the toxic smoke (Victory!)

After the first loss, I became quite cautious. The second match had a lot of mana (59), but the ruleset was terrible. If I made a mistake here, the whole team could die.

  • Battle Info:

  • Mana: 59

  • Rulesets:

  • Noxious Fumes: All units will be poisoned at the start of the game. They will lose 2 health per round.

  • Lost Magic: No magic cards can be used.

  • Opponent: @NEWCAR

Battle Strategy and Round Analysis:

I decided to use Earth Splinter in this match. My plan was simple—since I would lose 2 health per round due to poison, I would have to take monsters with a lot of Health (HP). I knew the opponent might bring high-damage cards, but Poison wouldn't spare anyone.

**Round 1:

The match started. The opponent team had Fire Splinter, and their attack power was deadly. My Mycelic Infantry (tank) dealt a big blow at the beginning. However, the real game started at the end of the round, when Poison reduced everyone's health by 2.

**Round 2:

In the second round, the opponent's low-health cards started dying due to Poison. Since my cards had high health, they survived even after taking the damage from Poison. The cards in my back row were constantly attacking and weakening the opponent.

**Round 3 and Victory:

The entire board is cleared in the third round. The opponent's powerful cards fall one by one, unable to withstand the toxic fumes. My Earth Team stands tall to the end due to their high health and proper positioning. And I achieved a nice victory!

Today's results and conclusions

Today's brawl session was full of experiences.

✅ Total matches: 3

✅ Wins: 2

❌ Losses: 1

The match with Noxious Fumes in particular taught me that it's not always about increasing attack power; survival is the key to winning. I'm very happy to bring these victories to my guild.

I hope you liked my brawl report. For those of you who play Splinterlands, how are you doing in Guild Brawl? Don't forget to let me know in the comments!

I'll be back soon with an update on the next battle. Until then, stay well and healthy.

Happy Gaming! 🎮
