Splinterlands Guild Pack Opening: The Exciting Experience of Getting Gold and Epic Cards from 3 Packs

Hello splinterlands family. The importance of guild brawls or team battles in the world of Splinterlands games is immense. Those who play this game regularly know how profitable it is to be a member of a guild and participate in brawls. It is difficult to express in words the excitement that comes with buying gladius cases or packs with the merit tokens obtained from brawls. Today I am sharing my exciting experience with you. Recently, I opened three guild packs with my accumulated merits, and fortunately, several powerful cards were added to my collection.

Let me tell you about my preparation at the beginning. I had accumulated a total of 7,633 merits by playing guild brawls and from various rewards. When I went to the guild store, I saw that each gladius case or pack was worth 2,000 merits. I decided to buy 3 packs today. I needed a total of 6,000 merits for the 3 packs. When I spent this amount of merits, I still had 1,633 merits left in my account. But just buying a pack is not enough; you need some extra items to increase your chances of getting a good card.

I decided to buy Blood Stones and Power Stones from the store to double my chances of getting a Legendary or Gold Foil card from the pack. Since I had a discount from my Guild Lodge, I was able to buy them at a slightly lower cost. I spent 810 Merits to buy 15 Blood Stones, which increased my chances of getting a Legendary card. Then, from the remaining Merits, I spent 792 Merits to buy 11 Power Stones, hoping to get a Gold Foil card. With everything packed up, I was ready to open the packs.

I was shocked after opening the first pack. It was the best pack opening of the day. From the first pack, I got a 'Gold Foil' common card, named Bertrol Gibson. This card is not often found, and being Gold Foil, it made my collection much more valuable. But the surprises didn't end there. In the same pack, I also got an 'epic' card called Garth. Garth is known for its powerful attacks and huge health. There were also three common cards in this pack: Alva the Crusher, Witch of Warwick and Helmet Kharafax. Getting gold and epic cards from the first pack was a great achievement for me.

After the success of the first pack, the excitement increased when I opened the second pack. Although I didn't get any gold or epic cards in the second pack, it was still quite balanced. In this pack, I got a 'rare' card called Cutter Bridge. It's great for those looking for a card with good speed at a low mana cost. The remaining four cards were from the common category—Bartrol Gibson, Helmet Kharafax, Chimney Wallstop and Alva the Crusher. The Chimney Wallstop card is quite strong for melee attacks, which is quite useful in guild battles.

Finally, it was the turn of opening the third pack. From this pack, I was able to collect two important 'rare' cards. One is Sarius, and the other is Captain Katie. The Sarius card is famous for its ranged attack, and Captain Katie is one of my personal favourites. Its magic attack and special ability can turn the game around. In addition, this pack contained three common cards—Izgald Vorst, Chimney Wallstop, and Catrelba Gibson. The last pack was also quite fruitful for me.

In total, from today's 3 pack openings, I got one gold foil card, one epic card, and three rare cards. Those who play Splinterlands know that Gladius cards cannot be sold or bought on the cardmarket, they are soulbound. So they can only be used to increase your fighting power. I believe that especially Gold Cards and Epic Cards will play a big role in my future guild battles. The real strategy is to accumulate merits regularly in the game and open packs at the right time. This experience today has increased my enthusiasm for playing the game. Hopefully, I will get a legendary card in the next pack opening. Thank you all.
