Splinterlands new season:- Jeddica Summoner upgrade
How are you all? I hope you are all doing well and healthy. Those who regularly spend time in the world of card games must know that the end of each season means new excitement and achievement. I am no exception. It seems that another season of the Splinterlands game has ended, and as always, this time too, I want to share with you some of the rewards I have earned and some moments of strategic improvement in the game. In today's article, I will mainly show you what I got this season and why I upgraded my Zeddica Summoner from level 4 to level 5.

If we talk about the season rewards at the beginning, then I have to say that this season was quite fruitful for me. I was able to reach the Gold-1 league in the Modern format. Those of you who play this game know how challenging it is to survive in the Gold League and move up. At the end of the season, I received a total of 15,626 Glints as rewards. In addition, I received an additional 6,250 Glints as a bonus for being at Modern Gold Rank-89 on the leaderboard. All in all, these Glints will play a big role in my further progress in the game. Being in the top 100 on the leaderboard is always an extra joy and motivation.

No,w let's come to the main discussion, which is upgrading my Zeddica summoner. Many of you may be wondering why I spent so much money and cards to take a level 4 summoner to level 5. There are several powerful gameplay strategies behind this. Zeddica is a rare-element summoner, which allows you to use cards of two types of elements: Water and Death. This dual ability is what sets her apart from other summoners in the game.

When I was at level 4, I was often unable to use my monster cards to their full potential. According to the rules of Splinterlands, the higher your summoner level, the more monster cards you can bring into battle. Having a level 5 rare summoner is almost essential to survive in the Gold League. To go from level 4 to 5, I had to combine a fairly large number of cards. I started with 44 cards, which was enough for level 4, but to reach level 5, I needed a total of 60 cards. In the screenshots, you can see that I gradually collected cards, first combining 57 and then the full 60 cards to reach level 5.

The main reason for this upgrade is the tactical advantage. When I use the two elements of Water and Death together with Jedidiah, it is very easy to confuse the opponent. For example, I put a powerful Death Element tank card in front and attacked from behind with Water Element magic attackers. This combination is very difficult for the opponent to handle. Now that I have upgraded to level 5, my summoner will be more effective in Gold League battles, and I have gained the ability to use higher-level common and rare cards in battle.
Although I spent a good amount of money and time on this upgrade, I still consider it a long-term investment. To survive in the modern format of the game, you have to constantly strengthen your deck. Looking at the estimated value and power production of the cards in the screenshot, you can probably guess how much power this single card has increased. Level 5 Jedika has now become one of the main strengths of my team.

Finally, I would like to say that Splinterlands is not just a game, it is a battle of wits. Every season teaches us how to achieve the best results with limited resources. My season rewards this year, and this important upgrade makes me dream of even greater achievements in the coming season. Don't forget to let us know how your season went and which cards you are prioritising. See you on the field, everyone.
