Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: Epic Fortune Mode and Finally Gold League.
Hello Splinterlands community, and all my friends. How are you all? I hope you are all healthy and having a great time on the game's battlegrounds. This is my second entry this week in the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. As a regular player, I am always excited about every update and new feature of the game. And it is not just for me but for all players. Especially the new reward system and foundation cards that are currently running have completely changed the course of the game.

So friends, in today's blog, I will share some of my highlights from this week. These include my current league position, the exciting experience of opening cards in Fortune mode, and the story of participating in Brawl battles for my guild. So let's get started.

1. My Current Position in the Gold League (The Gold League Grind)
Those who play Splinterlands know how challenging it is to survive in the Gold League. It is not only about having good cards, but also about winning without the right strategy.
I am currently in the "GOLD I" league. In the first screenshot I shared, you can see that my current rating is 3,040 (3,040). This is a big achievement for me because Gold 1 is the highest level of the Gold tier. From here, I can only go a little further and enter the Diamond League. However, maintaining this 3,000+ rating is quite difficult because at this stage, every opponent is playing with very strong decks. My energy bar is currently showing 45/50, which means I am fully prepared to battle. My main goal now is to maintain this position until the end of the season.

2. Reward Collection: The Magic of Fortune Mode!
Today was a special day for me because I had saved up some Glint and decided that today I would not buy cards from the shop, but rather try my luck at the "Mana Well".

I decided to turn on "Fortune Mode" instead of normal mode and draw cards. With Fortune Mode on, the chances of getting good quality cards (Gold Foil or Rare/Epic/Legendary) are much higher, although it costs a little more. I opened a total of 3 Foundation Packs.

The results were very satisfying! You can see the cards I received in the screenshots. What I got:
Echelon (Epic Card): This was the best result of the day! This epic card from the Rodentian unit is a great addition to the Fire element. Just looking at its artwork and stats, you can see how effective it will be on the battlefield.
Chelon (epic card): This was the best draw of the day! This epic card from the Rodentian unit is a great addition to the Fire element. Its artwork and stats show how effective it will be on the battlefield.
Arcane Curator (Rare): This Draconian card added a new dimension to my collection.
Barthalamas (Rare): Another great card for the Fire team.
Kanaaq Miner & Hungry Ulund: These cards are also quite useful, especially in certain rulesets; they can be game changers.
The animation and suspense that is created when opening new foundation cards is really enjoyable. I think my Glint spending was worth it with Fortune mode turned on.

3. Guild Brawl and Fray 3 Responsibilities
One of the biggest attractions of the Splinterlands game is the guild brawl or team battle. I am currently a member of a top-tier tier-2 guild called "Silence Behind the Moon". Our guild is quite active, and we always try to do well in the brawl.
Chatroom and Planning:
Before the brawl started, there was a discussion in our guild chatroom, the screenshot of which I have shared. Our guildmate Wiebz mentioned me and gave me a special task. Since I have some good Gold Foil cards in my collection, he suggested that I play in "Fray 3". Because I could not participate in the previous guild brawl, I went to the train in the wrong fray, for which I carefully selected my fray this time, and in the final, I can select the cards to play.

Match Submission:
I entered the Brawl Arena to fulfil my duty. In this fray, I had to fight a total of 7 different opponents. I am very happy to announce that I submitted all 7 of my matches (7/7) with my team. I did not leave any match empty or missed. It is always a matter of pride to be able to contribute to the victory of the guild.
4. Battle Strategy and Team Selection
I had to be very careful while submitting the Brawl matches. You can see some glimpses of my team selection in the screenshot.
Earth Splinter Strategy: In one match, I chose Earth or green Splinter. There, I put "Ulundin Overseer" as the main tank. Although this card cannot attack, it has a lot of health, which protects the cards behind it. Along with this, I combined magic and range attackers.
Mana management: Another screenshot shows a 29 and 30-man battle. In high mana battles, I usually like to use heavy and powerful monsters. Cards like Runi Skychunk or Quillstorm Mage perform very well in such matches.
I placed my cards considering the possible cards and ruleset of the opponent in each match. Now I just wait for the results. Hopefully, I can win most of these 7 matches and bring points to my guild.
Today was a very productive day for me in Splinterlands. On the one hand, strengthening my position in the Gold 1 league, on the other hand, getting some great new cards in Fortune mode - all in all, it was a great experience. I was especially happy to get the epic card "Echelon". And participating in the challenging Fre 3 for the guild was an extra thrill.
Splinterlands is not just a game, it is a great combination of strategy, patience and community. For those of you who are not playing this game yet, I would like to invite you to this magical world of cards. And for those of you who are playing, how is your current season going? Have you gotten anything good from the new reward system? Be sure to comment and let us know.
