Sumner Kylia Silverleaf Update: Why is this investment important in gameplay?

How are you guys? I hope you are all doing well and are healthy with your family. By the grace of God, I am also doing well. Those who regularly play Splinterlands must know how important it is to update their cards regularly to survive in this game and get good results. Today, I levelled up a special Summoner card in my collection, and based on that experience, I have prepared this article today.

Splinterlands is a game where not only good monsters are needed, but also a strong Summoner is needed to properly manage those monsters. For a long time, I was thinking of taking the Kylea Silverleaf card in my collection a step further. Earlier, I had this card at level 2. But when I was going to use the high-level monster cards on the battlefield, I saw that I was not able to use the full power or ability of the monsters due to the low Summoner level. I decided to update the card today to fix this problem.

Those who know about the Kylia Silverleaf card will surely agree that it is one of the most effective rare summoners of the Earth element. I upgraded this card to level 3 today. If you look at the Splinterlands market, you will see that the prices of good-quality cards are quite high these days. When I was collecting these cards, the market price of each card was around $0.72. I needed a total of 14 cards to take this summoner to level 3. Since I already had level 2 cards, I had to merge or combine an additional 10 cards today.

Actually, levelling up cards costs a pretty good amount of dollars. However, this investment was necessary for the sake of improving the gameplay. As you can see in the screenshot, when I started the process of combining the cards, the system was showing a warning message. It said that once these cards are combined, they cannot be reverted to their previous state. I checked everything carefully and confirmed, and within a moment, my Kylea Silverleaf card reached level 3.

Now the question may arise, why did I spend so much on this card? The main reason for this is the special abilities of this card. One of the unique qualities of Kylea Silverleaf is that it reduces the attack power of all the opponent's magic attack units by 1 point during battle. Magic attack is very popular in the current meta, so this card will give me a huge advantage in defence. Also, this card has a special feature called Bloodline Dominion, which will make the Elf monsters in my inventory even stronger.

Another great aspect of this card is the 'Execute' ability. It needs to be explained in more detail. When one of my monsters attacks an opponent on the battlefield, and after that attack, if the enemy's health is 2 or less, my monster will immediately get another bonus attack. It is an ability that can turn the tide of the battle. It is for these kinds of small strategic advantages that I updated the card so that my win rate in future matches will increase even more.

After the card went to level 3, not only did its offensive or defensive power increase, but its power production value also increased a lot. Now it will help increase the total value of my account and probably help in getting better rewards in the future. Honestly, it is almost impossible to survive in the upper leagues if you do not keep yourself updated regularly in the Splinterlands game. Even though I spent a few dollars today, I am quite satisfied with the new look and power of the card.
