Ujurak brave: Game changer or just a 6 mana burden?
Hello my splinterlands family, After the Rebellion Edition of Splinterlands came out, several interesting cards have been added to the Death Splinter. However, many people have overlooked the "Ujurak Brave" card. At first glance, many may turn their noses up at the idea of only 1 Melee attack and 2 Speed for 6 Mana. But believe me, the combination of stats and abilities of this card makes it a "Must Have" card for certain rulesets.
Today we will dissect why Ujurak Brave is essential to have in your deck and how it can destroy your opponent.

First Impression: Defensive "Tank"
Ujurak Brave is basically a defensive or support unit. At level 1, it has 3 armor and 7 health. That is, by spending 6 mana, you can deal a total of 10 damage. You get a wall to block. Its speed is low (2 at the start), which makes it ideal for the 'Reverse Speed' ruleset. While it won't last long on the frontline, it can be a great backup in the secondary position or in the 'Super Sneak' ruleset.
Game Changing Abilities: Why is this card special?

The real power of this card lies in its abilities. Let's take a look:
- Immunity (from level 1!):
This is the biggest selling point of this card. Usually, the 'Immunity' ability is found in high-level or legendary cards. But Ujurak Brave offers this benefit right from level 1.
Why is it needed? In the 'Noxious Fumes' ruleset, when all monsters take damage every round, Ujurak Brave remains intact due to its Immunity. Even if all your other cards die, this card will survive and save you from the match. Can win. It is an 'auto-win' card for poison matches in low-level leagues.
- Silence (unlocked at level 6):
When the card reaches level 6, it gains the 'Silence' ability. It reduces the magic attack of all opponent monsters by 1.
Strategy: Death Splinter's summoner 'Thaddius Brood' already reduces the opponent's magic by 1. If you use Ujurak Brave with it, the total magic attack will be reduced by -2! It is a nightmare against opponents using Obsidian or Alric. Their powerful magic attacks will then be reduced to 0 or 1.
Stats progression and attack power

Although it starts with only 1 attack, the card becomes quite powerful as you level up.
At level 8, it deals 2 Melee damage and max level (level 10) It is capable of dealing 3 Melee damage.
In addition, its health increases to 10 and armor to 4. That is, at high levels it not only works as a support, but also as a good damage dealer.
When to use it? (Best Use Cases)
In my experience, using this card in every match is foolish. However, in the following situations, Ujurak Brave can turn the game around alone:
Noxious Fumes (Poison): Close your eyes and put this card down. Immunity will give you an advantage.
Magic Spam Opponent: If you see that the opponent is using a lot of magic, its Silence ability and high health will protect you.
Reverse Speed: Due to its low speed, it gets the opportunity to attack first in this ruleset.
Final Verdict

Ujurak Brave is not an aggressive or fast card. But Splinterlands is not just a game of power, it is a game of strategy. This 6 mana card is a tactical Masterpiece. Especially its combination of Immunity and Silence makes it one of the best utility cards in Death Splinter.
If you don't have Ujurak Brave in your collection yet, you can buy it cheaply and start leveling it up. Because with the right move at the right time, this bull (Minotaur) alone is enough to crush your opponent!
