When fate knocks on the door: The story of my gold foil!
How are you, friends of the Splinterlands community? I hope you all are enjoying gaming and are defeating your opponents with new strategies. Today, I'm not here to give any strategies or tips; I'm here to share an extraordinary experience of mine, which has increased my gaming pleasure several times.
Today, like ten other days, I sat down to finish my Daily Challenge. I've been anxious to play the new "Frontier" mode of Splinterlands for quite some time. So I thought, I'll end today's challenge here. The goal was one - to win five matches in a row. Each match was a new test. Selecting the opponent's cards, understanding their strategy and using the right cards at the right time - all of this combined to create great excitement. After numerous hard battles, I in the end managed to reach my purpose and gained 5 consecutive suits. With this victory, I became able to similarly reinforce my role inside the Bronze I League with a score of 940, which became a notable success for me.
But the actual excitement became waiting within the praise section. After finishing the assignment, when I noticed 3 chests watching for me, my heart become pounding a little—who knows what destiny has in keep for me! With hope and pleasure, I clicked the "Claim" button.
As soon as I opened the first chest, my eyes widened! What am I looking at? A gold foil "Port Guardian"! Honestly, the joy of getting a gold foil card is different. Just looking at the golden glow and shiny design of the card fills my heart. Moreover, it is much more collectible than ordinary cards. My day was instantly fulfilled.
My joy doubled when I got a rare "Aurelia" card from the next chest. This is also a great addition to my team. Finally, as a third prize, I received a "Frontier Entry" ticket, which will allow me to play this mode again.
Today will be a truly memorable day. These small achievements increase the interest in playing the game a thousand times. It seems that both my hard work and luck worked together today. Good luck to all of you. I hope you will also open the chest and find such great surprises.
