Hi guys! Few weeks ago, a fellow community member extended an invitation for me to join a Guild in Splinterlandsa web3 game I've been playing for three years. Initially hesitant due to my busy schedule, I finally gave in to curiosity and took the plunge, eager to discover a whole new world that lay hidden behind the "guilds" button.

Splinterlands is a game with so many layers, it's mind-boggling! If guild brawls aren't your thing, you can always engage in random matches or focus solely on tournaments. And speaking of tournaments, that's another section I've barely scratched the surface of in my three years of gameplay.

Speaking of which, tournament’s is another section that I hardly ever visit in my 3 years of playing Splinterlands and is also a whole world of its own, yep Splinterlands is dope like that not many web3 games can say the same.

Anyway, back to my inaugural guild brawl. The user interface was perplexing at first, and I must admit, I'm still trying to get the hang of it. In an attempt to fake it till I make it, I selected my team and submitted my battle, then waited several hours for my opponents.

What transpired next was a humbling experience. As I clicked the play button, I watched in horror as my team was decimated, one by one. Gone were the days when I thought only bots could thrash me so thoroughly. Now, it seems, anyone can.

But surprisingly it turned out that I still bagged some rewards for joining in the brawl? Yup 1750 merits in the bag and some staked SPS. Not bad I must say,

This first foray into the world of guild brawls has been an eye-opener. Splinterlands truly is a multifaceted game that offers something for everyone, whether it's one-on-one skirmishes, intense tournaments, or exhilarating guild brawls. My recent defeat, while bruising to my ego, has only heightened my fascination with this vast gaming universe.

I’ve since entered other brawls and won a battle, I’ve learnt that the ruleset level of the fray you want to brawl in matters, if you enter a high level fray with mid level cards, then you’ll def be brushed aside. This week, I’m determined to win more than one battle in brawls. I’ll let you know how it goes.

My previous Splinterlands posts have been about speculating on the price of DEC and other in game items and I’ve had weeks of content, now that I’ve ventured into another part of the game, Brawliiiiiings, now I have more stuff to share with you guys. Next on my plate now is to try to buy gladius packs 😎so I can battle in brawl with style and thankfully I’m already accumulating Merits to do that.

So my question for you guys, anything I should know before buying and opening Gladius cases?

Thanks for reading!
