Hey guys, it’s been an interesting couple of days in the meme world, especially in the $PNS universe, sounds wrong….right? Lol, Let’s just focus on the token moving forward and forget about what the name sounds like, okay? Thank you….

So I wrote about the launch of $PNS a few days ago and I’m glad to tell you that our lirru fun project has been surpassing expectations, it’s been over 3days of launch and it has maintained its marketcap at over $800k, for a meme token that only a handful of people are involved in, it speaks volumes.

Scale of Legitimacy

If there was a scale of how meme tokens pass the “legit” stage, one of the metrics will be about how long the pump after launch was sustained for, it’ll be about 3days, some people will say if a new launched meme doesn’t flop in 3 days then it’s legit,

So safe to say, $PNS has passed the legit stage, the next stage on that scale will be about the volatility of the token, is it a pump and dump and repeat or it’s a holders paradise?

Volatility

While pump, dump and repeat is what most people like, because on paper, it could get easy to time the lows or ride the highs, but in reality, it’s gets so tricky in such a way that your every win is someone’s loss, and so therefore, one day you’ll be served too, ask every trader but that’s a story for another post.

Holders paradise on the other hand…., imagine an ecosystem driven by demand of a product where nobody is selling but holding on their merch,… I like to say people who sell have small $pns ha ha ha 😑,

Joking! But on an actual serious note, I saw a screenshot of a full price data on Dextools and it was only buyers, like all the way downnnnnnnn, the problem about this kind of thing is that under the hood, it has the capacity to keep pushing the price of the token up! What a problem to have.

Virality

Now that the type of volatility is in check, what matters next on the scale is our tokens virality, how viral can it go? How much noise can it make, so it just came to my attention that what we’ve had so far has been a soft launch of the $PNS token, and the hard launch is scheduled to come in few days.

For those who don’t know, the hard launch is the main party, where noise will be made, maybe some Coinmarketcap listing, some mention from noteworthy influencers, some partnerships, some CoinDesk article, nothing has been revealed so far but I expect something interesting to come from the community.

How to go viral in the meme world

Airdrops

Then….Maybe some life changing airdrops, make some noise!!!! At least this one will get people to sell some tokens instead of everyone keep buying, then the economics will be more balanced, moreover, every sell initiates burning of the token which is also good for the economy so yeah I signal for some sort of airdrop.

Social mining

If not airdrops then maybe some activity on zealy that will ensure that people actually work to get the word out and get rewarded for their efforts. This is something many projects have been doing now to gain traction and it’s been working well, let people tweet, reply tweets, quote, follow and get rewarded for them….

Let people earn points for their social activities that involve spreading word on their socials, take a cue from GMRX gaimin.io campaign on X, massive success, massive noise was made and massive money was made.

Virality = Adoption

There’s no faster way to garner attention and followership than that. On the scale of legitimacy, $PNS has passed over 70% of what it takes to be perceived as legit. The next stage is adoption and that’s where vitality comes in. $PNS needs to go viral and is well positioned to do so.

Just yesterday, Vitalik Buterin dropped a post about Meme tokens, they are going to play a major role in the future of blockchain adoption and one interesting thing I’ve noticed is that majority of memes are very much based on hype,

Conclusion

We will get to a time when the world will start to ask for more than that, and meme tokens with some utility other than noise will take the stage, remember ICO age? It’s happening again, it was called the ICO craze, very similar to what we gave now. Meme tokens that fail to evolve will die.

Most of us once despised the idea of meme tokens, we wouldn’t even touch it with a 10 mile pole, there are scammy, they don’t do anything, yada yada yada, well,…wake up and look around you, scared money don’t make money, Funny money does.
