This post is my entry for the current challenge, the "HENTHUSIAST, Bring me Challenge #17 - To Bring A Snack💕

Sounds yummy guyss😋🫰.... Because Food is the most essential need of our body, be that as it may that there are so many different cuisines and food preferences available at hand. A social media influencer even travelled to Thailand just to eat this kind of dessert, tabbed as "Mango Black Sticky Rice". It is just happened that last Friday, one of my friend came up with an idea, and decided to make this kind of snack. After buying all the ingredients, they started preparing and cooking the said sweet dish. When I asked them how did they made it, they gave me the link google/ containing the contents on " Mango Black Sticky Rice" written by Ms. Jeeca. ❤️🙏

•First, they washed the rice in order to remove the starch and until the water is almost clear. Afterwards, they drained the water from the rice. Second, they steamed the rice for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is already cooked, making it chewy. Thereafter, in a large pan, they heated the coconut milk in a medium high heat, adding in the sugar and salt. Consequently,they left the coconut milk to simmer over medium high heat until in boiled. Once it boiled they lowered the heat to medium and continued stirring it until the sugar had dissolved. Finally, they added the steamed rice and incorporated it with the simmered coconut milk until the mixture thickened.

After it was already fullycooked, they turned off the heat and to cool for 5 minutes. On the other hand in preparing the ripe mangoes,they peeled and sliced it. On top of it, they sprinkled toasted sesame seeds over the ripe mangoes. And to finish it off, they drizzled some of the left coconut sauce. They also made Sikwate ( Filipino Hot Chocolate Drink) to pair it with the sticky rice and mango. To prepare the Sikwate, they boiled water and dropped 2 chocolate tablea, or more, then added sugar for extra sweetness.

In line with this recent activity, I just want to share my thought on how sweet the mangoes were, and how chewy and tender the sticky rice together with the not-too-sweet Sikwate. Labeled as Branch 73 ala Mango Black Sticky Rice with Cocoa Sikwate. Therefore, in order to taste this mouthwatering delicacy, there is no need to travel to Thailand. Or better yet, you can also try to prepare and cook it yourself, and share it with your family members and friends.
