Splinterland art weekly contest #286 Nimbledook Scout

Hey guys. I hope you are all well. It is my first time participating in a weekly contest. So I am excited and also nervous about my art.

Why I choose Nimbledook Scout

I chose this because I was inspired by this character. And the weapons of this character axe and ninja were so admired. So I chose to make a drawing of it. This is my favorite card.

Short Summary

It took about 2 hours to complete its structure. Because I am not too expert of it. But I still try my best. I erase it again and again. But finally, I completed its sketch.

Now I was doing the most difficult work. To color this. Some people did it with so gracefully and neatly. But I am not from them haha 😂. First I started from its skirt. I color it purple.

I know it's not looking so well but the result will be better. After the skirt, I begin to color its jacket.

I don't have skin color for its skin. Then I created the skin color by mixing yellow, red, and white shades.
I fill its face and arms with skin color and its hair with maroon color. Also, I filled its gloves with a deep red color.

Now I was happy because the colors were done. Now it was time to give it a finishing touch. The most satisfying part of drawing for me. I picked up my black marker and started to outline it.

After taking its snap I saw that something was not well. So I picked brushes again and gave a final touch.

Now I was feeling satisfied with its last look. So I make more shots of my painting, from different angles.

I added my name to my painting haha.
