Art of KEI for contest#287

Hey everyone. I hope you all are doing well. It is the second time that I have participated in a weekly contest of @Splinterlands. This week I tried to make a new character card for this community. So I decided to make fan art of KEI.

why I choose KEI

I chose this character because I like the dual personality of this. It is also known as The dual Sword ⚔️ Dragon Lady. So therefore I was inspired by this one.

First of all, I completed the sketch step by step. Which is shown in the short review.

After completing the sketch I started to color it. First of all, I start with light colors. I filled its skin with the help of a base. I have no skin color so I used to make base for it.

Now it turned to color the dual face of KEI. I picked my brush 🖌️ up and opened the purple color. I colored its face arms and some parts of the belly. According to me, coloring is the most difficult work haha 😅. But not for everyone.

To fill its scarf I colored it with parrot and green color. I gave some blackish shade for shadow. I also used a green color for the bottom of the dress. I colored its skirt with a nevi blue color. Which is my favorite color

Its sword with grey 🩶 in color and its gloves color. Also, I used marker colors to give it some finishing and cover the empty area. Now it was about ready only the thing left was finishing it with an outline.

The most satisfying part according to me. When the whole shape of our art comes out. I give it an outline with the black pointer.

KEI
