Kelya Fendrul is a good choice for our melee focused team, adding speed and armor to monsters

The Monsters

With only 23 mana to work with I put Hardy Stonefish as my tank. For 1 mana it can act as a speed bump while the rest of the team goes to work!

Furious Chicken is an even better deal at 0 mana and another speed bump to delay my foe!

Demented Shark offers Inspire which gives my team +1 melee attack making everyone much more deadly. He is a great choice for a melee focused team in this ruleset because with opportunity he can actually attack from the back row. He's also a capable front liner that can hold his own.

Sabre Shark is deadly and mine has 4 attack with the Inspire. A perfect fit with the rest of the team and his sneak ability lets him attack monsters in the back instead of the front.

Pelacor Bandit comes next and he is a fast flying monster who also has sneak so he can team up with Sabre Shark on the enemy back line and also benefits from Inspire.

Last but certainly not least is our featured monster Deep Lurker! With Opportunity he will seek out the weakest foe and go for the kill!

Our opponent tried to use a tank with Thorns but we picked off the weaker enemies first with our sneak and opportunity. Our Speed and raw attack power easily overwhelmed our opponent and showed off the power of this water splinter melee team featuring Deep Lurker!
