A Great Choice Against Magic Attacks

Today I'm going to talk about the Prismatic Energy card in Splinterlands, so join me on this brief journey of knowledge.

In Splinterlands, I hate facing monsters with magic attacks in my battles, and to protect myself from them, there are two very useful abilities that I like: Void and Magic Reflect.

Void: 50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power.

This is my favorite ability for facing monsters with magic attacks.

Magic Reflect: Returns 50% of damage to the attacker (rounded up) when hit by a magic attack.

This is a great way to deal even more damage to monsters with magic attacks.

To my delight, Prismatic Energy has these two abilities, and for this reason, it's a great choice for facing monsters with magic attacks.

This is Prismatic Energy. It's a card that belongs to the neutral deck, and when the Beta edition was released, it was one of the Reward Cards you could get from chests. I wish I had played it back then, but I only started playing Splinterlands when the Chaos Legion edition was released.

Currently, Prismatic Energy is cheap on the market, but it's not one of my priorities in Splinterlands because my focus is on Chaos Legion cards, as they are very useful and cheaper.

Now let's see how Prismatic Energy really performs in battles and why I always like to rent it during the season.

Watch The Battle

In battle, there was the Wands Out rule, so choosing Prismatic Energy is one of the best options for this type of battle.

For those unfamiliar with the Wands Out battle rule, it only allows monsters with magic attacks, so the Void and Magic Reflect abilities are perfect.

Although Prismatic Energy was a great choice in this battle, I combined it with the summoner Mimosa Nightshade and monsters with the Silence ability.

It was a slow battle, but that's the best strategy for this type of battle, and my opponent knew it too because he used a very similar strategy to mine.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.

For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".

Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
