Attacking and Dodging with the Elemental Phoenix

Today I'm going to talk about the Elemental Phoenix card, so join me on this brief journey of knowledge in Splinterlands.

I'm a big fan of older edition cards, and Elemental Phoenix was one of my favorite cards in the Fire deck in the past. It's powerful when it comes to dealing damage and also a great ally for dodging enemy attacks.

This is Elemental Phoenix, a legendary card from the Fire deck that has a magic attack. Elemental Phoenix has a great design and costs 7 mana to use in battles. This isn't a low amount of mana, but Elemental Phoenix is worth every penny.

In the past, a card with 4 magic attack was rare; today you can find them more easily because of the new card editions, but Elemental Phoenix is still a great choice for battles.

Elemental Phoenix has 4 abilities: Flying, Blast, Magic Reflect, and Dodge.

Flying: +25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying. Immune to Earthquake.

I like this ability because it's very easy to dodge attacks when the card has it, and it's a great ally for the Earthquake rule.

Blast: Deals an additional 50% damage (rounded up) to units adjacent to the target.

Dealing damage is essential in battles, so the Blast ability will be a great ally.

Magic Reflect: Returns 50% of damage to the attacker (rounded up) when hit by a magic attack.

I like using cards with magic attacks but I hate facing them, so Magic Reflect is a great ability for me.

Dodge: +25% chance to evade physical attacks.

If you combine the Flying ability with the Dodge ability, then Elemental Phoenix will be a machine for dodging attacks.

Now I'll show how Elemental Phoenix can be useful in battles.

Watch The Battle

In this battle, I can show how Elemental Phoenix is a powerful card and a great ally for dodging attacks. I used some cards with the Swiftness ability, and that helped a lot when dodging, especially with the help of the Blind ability.

The battle only lasted 4 rounds, and I was the victor.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.

For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".

Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
